"That is splendid news, Lord Moriarty!"

Alex resisted the urge to kick her shameless, sorry excuse of a father to where the sun doesn't shine as he flirts with the blonde noblewoman.

No, she's not angry because he flirted with another woman who is not her mother.

She's angry because her father is wasting her time by inviting her here in this useless party.

Alex doesn't hate the blonde woman, in fact she was disgusted. That blonde bitch knew that her father was a married man (who is married to an ugly woman) and have three children.

Hell, that woman is even flirting with other guys!

Alex was angered that the woman was flirting with her father in front of his own daughter.

What a shameless bitch. Alex thought in disgust, not even being polite. Well, she might be a noblewoman, but she will never be like those girls who is nothing but a damsel while expecting to be saved by a handsome prince or a white knight.

Gross.

I wish I can skip this. Alexandra thought, gracefully sipping on her tea while ignoring the burning eyes behind her.

Men. She inwardly sneered in disgust.

She would never lay down with perverted men that wanted nothing but to satisfy their own pleasures and gloats. Just like the men behind her.

(A/N: If you are a boy, I am deeply sorry for saying such things, but I have a rather bad experience with them. But I know that all boys are not bad, so I am sorry.)

Although... Her thoughts was suddenly consumed by a certain blonde boy. I know that something is off about him, but that's one of the things that captures my interest.

Without her realizing, Alex softly smiled. I can't wait to get the hell out of this hell hole.

"You have taken in two orphans!" The woman said in delight while holding Mr. Moriarty's hand.

Mr. Moriarty laughed. "I did give you my word, after all."

Alex gave her father a subtle deadpanned. More like trying to empress the bitch.

Although... Alex glanced at her mother's expression. What an ugly expression you got there, mother. She thought with dark satisfaction at her mother's anguish.

"It is the duty of those of us who have to extend a hand to those who have not." Mr. Moriarty said and Alex have to agree to that.

At least he still have a brain. Alex thought, sipping her tea. Her eyes narrowed. Even though it's a lie.

The woman smiled. "Further, you will be providing the sickly younger brother with an operation, as well?"

Alex choose that as an opportunity to interrupt. "Of course." She said, catching their attention. "With my help, he will be healed right away." She said while plastering a practiced fake smile.

The woman beamed in happiness. "Oh, Lady Alexandra!"

"He has had such a hard life up to this point, after all." Mr. Moriarty said, nodding in agreement and pride.

The woman gasped in pity for Louis.

Like you actually care. Alex thought in disdain, inwardly frowning. But I will save Louis. The medicine I made will only slow it down, but the medication that he needs is something I have yet to learn and make.
