Spicks and Specks: Sam's Back!

Chapter 2

Sam met all my friends.

"Well, since today's episode is done and I have some time to kill, let's hit the lake" Sam said.

"It's not so much a lake as runoff from a fracking operation" said Denise.

Ella Hooper ran over and said "I don't know you. Identify yourself!" to Sam.

"This is Sam. She's Murray's lovely girlfriend" said Justine.

"Good to meet you" said Ella primly.

Pretty soon, Myf and I were taking Sam to a lovely place in the forest called the Spot.

"Pretty cool" Sam said.

"If you've been on this show, honey, Murray would be taking you here for a date every night" said Myf.

"I'd have no problem with that" Sam said swinging her hips.

"Oh dear" I thought.

Just then a woman I recognized as Arlene Francis from the game show "What's My Line?" came over.

"Look who's here. The red faced Wiggle and Triple J's silly announcer" she said.

"Who's that?" Sam said. 

"She doesn't like us" I said.

"Arlene. It's our turn with the Spot today. The signup sheet says so" said Myf.

"Oh well! Want a bet? I'm too pretty with my rosy red lips" said Arlene.

"Well, I'm not afraid of you or that blood on your lip!" I scoffed.

"What did you say to me?" said Arlene.

"We're done sharing the Spot so if you want it you'll have to fight for it." I said.

"Very well. I say we have a show vs show archery battle" said Arlene.

"Done. And the winner gets the Spot forever" I said.

"Very well." said Arlene strutting away.

"H-how did you do that?" Sam said.

"I-I dunno." I said.

"Hmm" Sam said walking away with Myf.

Oh, what have I done?

I challenged Arlene Francis to a battle for the Spot. She's such a tough woman. 

Can we beat her?
