"Well, Murray... if there has to be only two of us left... I'm glad it's me and you" Sam said.
"Thank you, darling; that means a lot" I said.
"So what should I do?" Sam said.
"Sam! I have more to offer my team than just an adventurous girlfriend" I said.
"Huh?" Sam said.
"I mean, being on Spicks and Specks has changed me. I don't need Peter Pan's sister to fight my battles for me anymore" I said.
"Well... now that I think about it, you did stand up to that bully Arlene. That took guts" Sam said.
"I know. Especially since my nose was touching hers" I said.
Sam nodded her head.
"Okay, Murray. What we're gonna do now is up to you." she said.
I kissed her to say "thank you".
"So what do we do? I'm almost out of ammo" Sam said.
I tried making another shot but I couldn't.
"And the only thing you can shoot with an archery arrow is a sleeping snail" Sam said.
"Wait. I have an idea" I said.
"Does it involve the Battle of Waterloo?" Sam said.
"No. But it does involve tricking Arlene" I said.
"Ooh! I dunno where you're going with this, but I like the idea of tricking Arlene" Sam said.
I told her my plan.
"Well?" I said when I was done.
"Not bad. It might work" Sam said.
