Conner Stoll

"TRAVIS STOLL!"

Both my brother and I cringed at the yell. Travis grinned sheepishly.

"I'm about to be murdered, aren't I?"

I laughed softly. "Probably."

"You will protect me right?"

I grinned as his smile fell. "Of course...not."

I laughed as he started to protest as I stuck my head out the door. "He's in here, Will!"

The son of Apollo appeared, pushing past me before tackling my brother. "You are an idiot, Stoll."

"I know, Will."

I hid my smile in my hands, slowly backing away. Travis glared at me. "Conner, don't you dare."

I ignored him and darted out of the cabin. I was laughing, running towards the beach. Percy was long gone by the time I reached the ocean's edge, but my father wasn't. My father wasn't alone either.

I stopped in my tracks, staring at the two boys that laid unconscious on the sand beside him. He glanced at me, before his gaze fell to the boys. He met my stare one more time before vanishing.

I ran over to the two boys, quickly checking their pulse. They seemed okay, only unconscious. I glanced around, spotting a golden shoe laying next to one of the boys.

Kneeling beside them, I brushed the sand out of their hair, the first thing I noticed was the bright red hair. The second thing I noticed was the dark bags under their eyes and the worn clothing that was just a little too loose on their skinny bodys.

Were they demigods? Are they even part human? I frowned, pushing myself up off the sand. They had to be something other than pure mortal if they were allowed to pass the border.

They hadn't eaten properly in a while, that was painfully obvious. The scars on one boy's arm also indicated that there was more to that than I thought.

"I'll have to get someone else," I murmured, jogging back into the heart of camp. Glancing around, I spotted another Apollo kid.

"Hey, I need a bit of medical help. Would you and a few others be able to help?"

She looked me up and down, nodding slightly. "You don't look hurt, so I assume it's someone else, if this isn't one of your famous pranks. How many?"

I rubbed that back of my neck, letting out a small sigh. "Enough to carry two boys. Down on the beach."

"'Ight. I'll meet you down there."' She began to walk off before glaring at me. "This better not be a prank."

I grinned sheepishly, jogging back to the beach. The water lapped the edge of one of the boy's pants as the tide moved in. I'm going to have to get them new clothes.

One of them mutters something as four Apollo kids appear on the beach, but at a glance neither were awake. The girl from earlier nods at me and they pull the boys onto stretchers, bringing them back.

"Go get Will, would yeah?"

I simply nodded as she ran off with the others. Time to tell me brother our plan worked.

"Hey Travis?" I pushed the door of our cabin open, finding Will passed out exhausted on the bed beside my brother, my brother gently petting his hair. Blinking in surprise, I just stared as Travis motioned for me to be quiet. "What's going on here?"

"It was the only way he would stop bothering me. Plus, he needed sleep. Don't think too hard on it." He raised an eyebrow at me. "What's up?"

"The shoe worked. We have two visitors at camp."

"It worked? Holy Z."

"Yeah, but we kinda need to wake Will."

Travis rolled his eyes, shaking the boy beside him slightly. Will moaned, opening his eyes slightly. They widened when he noticed where he was.

"Wha- I- what-"

"Relax," Travis laughed, cutting him off. "You just fell asleep, it's okay."

"Will, we have two visitors. They need you in the infirmary."

He eyes widened at my statement, quickly jumping up and grabbing his jacket. "Don't do anything stupid!" He yelled as he ran off.

"Don't do anything stupid, yeah right." I laughed, pulling my brother out of bed. "Let's go meet our guests."

Travis smiled. "Let's."

"So what you're telling me is that due to a prank we now have two red headed boys inside our camp?"

"Yes."

Will sighed, darting around us as he checked the boys vitals. "Well, good news is that they are perfectly fine, just drained from exhaustion."

"Bad news?"

"They are going to need new clothing."

"That's easy enough," Travis muttered.

"And idea how they got into camp? Like past the borders?" I questioned, excitedly.

Will held up a slim piece of wood, twirling it between his fingers before handing it over. "My best guess is that they are descendants of Hecate's experiment. Wizards."

"Wizards?"

"Wizards."

"Hecate? 'Ho's 'at?" A voice groaned, causing us to all spin around. The boy opened his eyes, blinking at the bright light. "Where... Where am I?"
