(Crystal's POV)Staring at nothing. Blank expressions. Stuck within her own thoughts. Yes, that's currently my situation. Then all of a sudden-
"Ms. Snow?" Someone called out of nowhere. Being brought back to reality, I looked around and spotted our adviser calling my attention with her strict face. Oops.
"Yes po?" I politely replied with a small smile.
"Are you still with us?" She asked with her brows raised up.
I nodded before responding. "Yes po, I apologiz--"
"Ma'am Ali?" Someone interrupted all of a sudden. We all faced her way and all I can say is, I smell trouble..
"Yes, Ms. Salvador?" Our adviser asked, once again with her brows shot up.
The so-called 'Ms. Salvador' danced her way towards the front where our adviser was. She took some time before finishing whatever she had whispered to her. Then, she made her way back, winking at me before taking her seat.
Trouble. I already knew that. And that's what happened.
"I'm really sorry Ms. Snow. Please forgive my rude actions. I will work harder and be better. Please do not--"
"Ma'am Ali, there is no need for you to apologize. It should actually be the other way, I'm sorry for not paying my full attention to your announcement." I genuinely spoke up, cutting off her sentence.
She flashed her best smile and bowed in front of me before continuing her disturbed announcement earlier. I glanced towards Cassy whose been the one at fault for causing all these delays.
She flashed me her wide smile and motioned her hands meaning I should face front and listen now. Huh.
"Break time naaaaa~" Cassy shouted happily as we were walking down the hall, heading to the school cafeteria.
I'm just as glad as she is, today's the first day of school and in every class, we were just introducing ourselves in different unique ways which exhausts me and will continue to exhaust me since we will have to continue doing that until this day ends.
"Cass" I called to my best friend. Yes, she is my best friend, Cassandra Summer Salvador. Well technically not just her, we're a group of friends but she's the only one in my section and in my classes this year.
"Mmm?" She hummed her response as she was walking ahead of me. Right before I was able to reply-- "Ah! Tungkol dun sa homeroom, sorry! Ayaw ko lang kasi na tinatrato ka nang ganon." She said with a smile.
"You didn't have to, we're all just the same and I was the one at fault ya know." I replied as I picked up the pace and caught up to her fast walking, and clinging my arms on her shoulders.
"Ano? Same? Tayo, same? You've got to be kidding me Tal."
"We already talked about this Cass." I firmly said with a serious face. She nodded as a response and we ran for the cafeteria not minding what other students thought about us.
Right when we were about to enter the cafeteria..
"Scarlet!" Someone called out my name. Not just anyone is allowed to call me by my second name. I turned around and waved at the person who called me, my ate.
She approached us and asked Cassy if she could eat with me. Cassy didn't refuse and left us two alone.
"Do you need anything ate Meisha?" Meet my super pretty ate, Meisha Cyrinne Snow.
