d-day (elected: final)

It was the day before the event. Just a few more hours till they see whether their hard words would pay off..

Seulgi and Jennie brang their friends over as promised. Hoping that they could help to lessen the work that needed to be done.

Well for the most part, they did help...

"Guys, we really need to get back to work" says Rosé to Jisoo and Yeri who were busy bickering with each other.

Jennie, Irene and Yongsun were in-charge managing and planning the things to be done. While the rest does the actual thing.

"Hey Lis, pass me over the cardboard box pleaseee?" Seulgi says dragging her words.

"Ugh stop doing that! Im considering not doing what you just said.." she shook her head.

After peacefully preparing.

"Good day students, the student council and the faculty members have gathered you all here today to officially mark the start of a new school year. May we enjoy this day!" Wendy, the mc, enthusiastically greeted. Which earned a loud cheering from the crowd.

"Hey where'd you wanna go??" One student asked..

"I heard the best booths are over there!" Another student said, pointing over where the student councils were.

People came rushing to this one specific booth..

It was the "tell me your secrets" booth.. sounds weird but it did intrigue quite alot of students.

"Hah! Told you the crowd would like this!" Jisoo happily cheered.

"Ehhh? What is this booth anyway??" Yeri asked.

Basically, people would form two lines. One at the right side and one on the left side. After that they'd have to enter a sound proofed room that is covered, meaning that they don't visually see each other.. they only hear each other. Its like 'confessing a sin to a priest' type of set-up..

Then that's when they begin to "confess" or just basically talk to someone. This way they won't judge people based of off their looks but more on their personality.

"Sounds good! Wow" Joy excitingly told Jisoo.

"Heh, im jisoo im good!" she said, making the rest of the squad laugh

Secret booth

Stranger 1: uhh, hello?

Stranger 2:
Oh heyy!

Stranger 1: oh cool, so am i uhh, talking to a real person?

Stranger 2:
Well I'm not an alien.. that makes me human right?

Stranger 1: haha, I suppose then..

Stranger 2:
Wow I like you already, so what do you usually do?

Stranger 1: feelings are mutual here! Well I like to think that I'm artsy.. (?)

Stranger 2:

Why do you sound unsure.. you're probably artsy! I believe you.

Stranger 1: woah, thanks.. how bout you what do you do?

Stranger 2:

Well- I like to think a lot, in a good way.. I write stories most of the time to free those imaginations outta my head.

Stranger 1: definitely would love to hear your stories!

Lisa: times up! Just a quick survey, how was it guys?

Stranger 1&2: the best!

Lisa: here take this blue card, if you guys want to meet/see each other go at this place.

...

"It's pretty chill up in here huh?" Moonbyul spoke.

"Yeah it really is, this is a great escape from duties" Yongsun replied as she closes her eyes.

"Hahaha, yeah" Moonbyul sat beside Yongsun. The latter who has her eyes closed, unknowingly leaned on Moonbyul's shoulder, making the latter blush.

"Yong? You good?" She asked tone now sounding concerned

"Mmhm, now stop moving. I like this, its pretty comfy." She says as she continues to lean at the latter.

They were currently settled at the branch of the campus' big tree, the leaves perfectly blocking the sun's burning rays. And the altitude was high enough for them to feel the cool breeze.

"Hey Rinaaa look up!" The little kid shouted.

"What-what-what is it Win-ah?!" The other kid shouted back

"There's someone up the tree! You know what that means!!" The kid named Win whispered but it was still pretty loud...

"They're K.I.S.S.I.N.G." Rina sang the familiar tune.

"Kids! What are you doing back in there?! Head back inside" Jennie spotted the kids and scolded them.

Then Byul saw Jennie wink at her teasingly.

"She probably heard those kids..." Moonbyul mumbled.

"Hmm? What?" Yongsun woke up from slumber.

"Nothing, go back to sleep.. We'll have to go head back inside soon.."

New text message received

Seulgi: So what's pres and vice pres doing up in the tree?

Seen

"That bit-" Upon reading the text message, her face scrunched in embarrassment, features immediately tensing.

Her now tensed features was then met up with a confused latter beside her, who has been staring at her for the past 5 minutes.

"Byul-ah, you're pretty cute when you do that.." Yongsun innocently stated.

"W-what?" Caught off guard she covered her face with her hands, completely aware of the growing red tint on her cheeks and ears.

"When you scrunch you're nose in embarrassment or when you're cringing. It's just- I can't explain.." Yongsun answered completely unaware of the gay panicking hamster beside her.

After Moonbyul composes herself she confidently replied

"You're pretty cute too you know?" Moonbyul states as she stares at Yongsun with pure sincerity

"What did I do?" She asked

"You're cute without even trying, you just really are.." Moonbyul calmly says but her insides doing summersaults, feeling quite proud of her comeback.

Yongsun could only chuckle out of embarrassment.

"HEY LOVE BIRDS GET DOWN WE NEED TO ARRANGE SOME THINGS!" Irene shouted from below, her thick Daegu accent lingering. Behind her stood the rest of the squad wearing a knowing grin and smirks.

upon writing this "series" I realized how hard it was to connect each chapter.
