The Last Portal Master. A Skylander's Fan Fiction

Chapter 1

     We were sitting down in the first class, we had ELA first. I was writing in my novel. I had gotten to the ending before the end of class and I raised my hand, the teacher walked over and picked up my novel. I got out a drawing pad that she let us have and I turned to the page I had been drawing in. It was a picture of Snowy. I heard something and I looked up, everyone else heard it too and looked up as well. The PA went off two times, there was a stranger in the school. The teacher got up and looked to us.

     "Everyone, hide." She said as quiet as she could. The class, including Ronie and Pyper, went over to the other side of the room, that wasn't visible. I was about to go with them, holding my drawing pad when I noticed the same mist from my dream. I starred at it and ran back to my desk and hid under it. Snowy flew in from the vent and everyone hid from her, she flew over to me and I held onto her. A banging came on the door. I knew I was almost in sight.

     The banging got louder, I heard a voice mumbled and the creak of the doorknob and the door open. I peered around the corner, the shape I always saw in my dream was right there. Snowy hissed and snapped at the figure. I tried to calm her down.

     "Now, Chubshanks, to find the girl. What was her name again?" His voice was high and naisled. Just like the one from my dreams.

     "Uh, her name was Niege." Said a deeper voice. I widened my eyes, they were looking for me. I hid down, a growl came and I could hear what Snowy was saying.

     "Niege, stay back." I looked to her. I was going crazy!

     I heard something in the ducts. I heard a clash, a clatter, and a thud. The sound of a smaller thud came and a growl came too.

     "Oh, great. The Skyladers are here." The class tried murmuring silently, the voice seamed to ignore them. A growling sound came louder.

     "Leave, Kaos. You'll have what's coming for you when we get back to Skylands." The voice of the purple dragon beside me in my dreams came up. I couldn't help myself anymore. I leaned in to look when I felt a pat on my back and I fell into view. I was laying on my back now, I opened my eyes and saw an oddly bald and short man in front of me, he had black markings on his head and red eyes. I was scared. I looked to where I was before, a green troll was behind the desk.

     "Found her." Came the trolls voice. I sat up and looked to the man whom I believe was named Kaos. Snowy leaped over me, and somehow she grew larger, she was medium sized.

     "You touch her one more time, I'll rip you to shreds!" I set my hand on my head. I heard a clatter behind me.

     "We'll protect her with our lives." One shady voice said, I looked behind me. A whole group of animals were behind me.

     "I knew it. I'm going crazy." I said.

     "Stealth Elf, get Niege to a safe point and make sure her pet is with her."

     "Yes, Spyro." The shady voice came. I looked up, a elf was beside me and helped me up.

     "I'm not going without Ronie." I said, she bowed her head and disappeared, came up next to Ronie, and came back to me. She grabbed my arm, and the snowy flew up to me, she was small again and landed on my shoulder. In a green flash, we were gone.

     When the smoke cleared, I waved my hand to help it. I looked up, the figure was still there and Ronie was starring at it with me.

     "You aren't going to hurt us, are you?" I said. The creature looked like she was giggling.

     "No, we actually came looking for you." She responded. I looked to Ronie, he looked to me and we looked back to the small creature.

     "Why are you so small?" Ronie asked. I elbowed him and he rubbed the wound.

     "We don't belong here. We shrunk on the way over here. When we get you back him, Niege, we will be full size again." I was shocked.

     "Back home? I am home. I live on Earth!" I protested. Snowy flapped up and I looked to her. She shook her head.

     "You were born on Skylands. When you were visiting your uncle, Eon, Kaos came and took the Core of Light. The explosion took you away from us. Since only Eon was the Portal Master, you are our only chance to defeat Kaos." She said I shook my head.

     "I knew it. I am going so crazy, I'm actually having hallucinations." I said with a giggle. Snowy looked at me and I heard her talk again.

     "She's telling the truth, Niege." Ronie and I looked to Snowy like she had burst into flames. "You and I were born on Skylands. Ronie has been around us long enough, he could be mistaken as a villager of Skylands." I looked at her.

     "Niege." I looked up to the elf, she seamed unnatural. "We need you on Skylands more than ever now. You were too young to understand this before. We need you more than ever." I sighed and looked to her.

     "What do you need me to do? I must be dreaming, so why not?" I looked to her, I think she smiled.

     "Excellent. Spyro and the others should have Kaos out by now, I'll be back." She said as she got up. After she finished talking, she disappeared. I fell back and Ronie rested my head on his lap.

     "Niege, I think this is real life." I looked to him.

     "No, I'm just dreaming, this isn't real. I am still passed out on my bed, safely tucked in and asleep." Snowy came up to me.

     "If you're dreaming, would you feel this?" She asked me and she set her mouth around my arm and bit down. I shook it off.

     "Ow! Why'd you do that?"

     "You aren't dreaming."

     I closed my eyes and waited for something. I heard the sounds around me, I was somewhere in a forest. I heard flapping and Ronie looked up, I opened my eyes and saw the same purple dragon flying down to me. I sat up and saw him about the same size of the elf.

     "Sorry, Kaos is more of a problem here than on Skylands." He said. I looked at him and the other small creatures behind him.

     "It's alright. Now, how do we get to this. . ." I looked for the word.

     "Skylands." He finished my sentence.

     "Yea. That." I looked to him again. His eyes were about as red as Kaos's He looked to a back and gray griffin creature with green eyes and armor on her head and wrists.

     "Sonic Boom, go and show Ronie to the ship. Take Camo with you." The Griffin nodded.

     "Yes, Spyro." She took off and flew next to a plant dragon and they went off with Ronie running after them. I looked behind Spyro. Another purple dragon and a blue lady came up.

     "Spyro, what are we going to do? I doubt that Niege believes any of this." The purple dragon said.

     "I think we should take her to Skylands and see what happens." The blue figure said, her voice scared me slightly. Spyro sighed and folded in his wings as well as he could.

     "We'll explain it to her on the way." He said. The other Skylanders walked where the griffin and plant dragon walked off with Ronie. Spyro staid behind and waited for me. Snowy jumped off of me and flew to catch up with the others. I got up and walked on. Spyro started to walk with me as we walked the path.

     "Niege, do you believe us when we say: We need you?" He asked me.

     "Not much." I said as I walked on.

     "Let me tell you everything that happened that day, fourteen years ago." He told me as we walked on.

     He explained things to me, I started to believe him the more he explained it.
