Starting school was always hard. Especially for Dante. He was a new kid, so it was hard on him. Mostly because he had gone to his old school for his whole life so he didn't know anyone.

He got up that morning hesitantly. He stripped down and took a shower. When he got done, he looke into his body sized mirror and combed his neck length, dirty blonde hair. He looked at himself in the mirror and flexed his upper body and thought to himself I look okay today.

Dante had dirty blonde hair and ocean blue eyes. Ever since his parents and little sister were murdered, he had lived alone and started making video games to get money for school and food. The rest he saved in his bank in case he needed to move again. He was a very smart kid so it was easy to make the games and get some good money out of them, but it took some time.

Dante had a tough time making and keeping friends. He was socially awkward and couldn't keep a conversation going. He had known mostly everyone in his hometown and they all looked at him much more different after his family was mrudered. That is the main reason he moved to Milsburg.

Milsburg was a small town with roughly four thousand people. Most of them that he met seemed nice enough. Since he couldn't keep a conversation going, he had only talked to a few people, but it was enough to determine how the town was.

Dante met one person that will also be a senior with him a few days ago. He was about his height with brown hair, brown eyes, and a slim and pale body. He was a lot like Dante. He seemed to be socially awkward and he wouldn't look Dante in the eyes.

Dante got in his car and started heading to school. On his way he saw multiple teens walking in little groups with their multicoloured backpacks on. The school wasn't very large, but it was two stories with, Dante assumed, a large gym. He had only been in it once when he signed up for school.

He pulled into the parking lot and turned his car off. He sat in it for a few minutes and layed his head back. He looked at his watch and took his keys from the ignition. He opened the door and stepped out. He closed the door and locked it.

The school was made entirely of brick and the parking lot was small. It was pretty much completely full. The students parked in the lot and the teachers parked in a separate space.

A few buses pulled into the area where they dropped the students off. An average of about 5-7 students got off of each bus. The busses left to drop off the middle schoolers and primary schoolers. The students walked into the main doors that opened into the foyer near the cafeteria.

I walked to the main doors and stopped. I looked at the front of the school and sighed. I walked in the doors and looked around. A girl looked at me and walked up to me.

"Hey. I'm Erianna," She said.

"Uh...hey, I'm Dante," I said uncomfortably.

"Welcome to the worst school in the country; Milford High school: home of the Panthers," She said sarcastically. "What's your schedule?"

"Uh...here," I said as I pulled it out of my pocket and handed it to her.

"Sweet! We have most of our classes together. I'll show you areound. Come on." She said while she turned around and started walking.

I had just started the first day of school.
