In Deep Thought

It was sweltering. The metal of the handgun Todo was holding was heated up and was burning his skin. He sighs as he takes the last few shots at the target. He puts the gun back in his holster. It had been a long day of classes and working. Todo hadn't asked Misaki about his landlord yet ever since he found out. Todo sighs again, his head full. These days, it was rare to think about anything other than Haruhiko. Thinking about other things made him lonely.

And he couldn't help it! Haruhiko was always out in the world, being awesome or whatever. It made Todo realize even more how far away he was from being in the world. But he felt a sense of security when he was with Haruhiko. Todo hadn't spent much time rolling over the fact they were both men. Love is love right? Besides, Haruhiko had showed no hesitations on it either. They were both at ease. And it made Todo really happy.

"Oi! We're closing soon!" The Manager shouted at Todo.

"Yeah I'm ready to go." Todo realizes how long he's been here and leaves.

Haruhiko is in a clothing store. He's staring at one suit very intensely. Haruhiko had been deep in thought about his relationship with Todo. His father would surely disapprove, as he had with Misaki. Todo was after all, a commoner. Why did such titles matter? It made Haruhiko sick to his stomach. He had fallen in love. Maybe he'd been the perfect child all his life but it made him feel like a drone in a white room. 

He thinks for a few more seconds. Recently, Todo and Haruhiko had exchanged numbers. Haruhiko flips open his phone and types a few words. He clicks send.

Haruhiko glances back at the suit."Dammit" Haruhiko grabs the suit.
