The year 2050

THE WORLD as we knew it, is gone. It all started 30 years ago when the 2020 apocalypse began. The Apocalypse wasn't a sudden event, It was a step-by-step process that took place throughout the year. Most people expected the Apocalypse, some believed the world would face an horrific end, how foolish they were to think of an easy way out.

The first phase of 2020 came to an end in September, people let their guard down, little did they know the second phase would be 10 times more horrible than the first phase. The second phase started with a sighting of an unidentified flying object, just like in the past, people let it slip through their minds, even when the scientists and researchers tried to warn them, they wouldn't listen, they were just too careless, what could happen? How could things get worse than it already is? Well, their questions were answered on new year's eve. Everyone was more than ready to bid farewell to the worst year ever, or so they thought, but boy could they be any more wrong.

On December 31, 2020, several spaceships landed, no one was ready for this, you might think someone would be prepared for this mess, not even the defense force could do anything, the first few weeks following the incident everyone was anxiously waiting for the attack, curious to see how they looked like, few months passed, it was revealed that they look like a human, behave like human but aren't human. They were called the 'Imposters'.

Even though they haven't attacked on a large scale, small attacks were made, the government was able to come up with precautions and disaster management, they were even able to build space stations, it was to collect data against the imposters and also to use for defense.

Now, A lot of things changed as the years passed by, the world was the same yet not the same, people still had day jobs, still had schools and parties but they didn't trust each other, not even the government officials trusted each other. Young people were appointed to work at space stations, since, among the Imposters they were able to catch, none of them were
youngsters or kids. So kids were handpicked and trained since they were very young, once they turn 18 they were eligible to work at space stations.

Just like any other year, members were carefully picked to be sent to the space station 'The Skeld ' 4 experienced ones and 6 new ones.

Color-coded suits were given and they were ordered to wear it at all times. As the world became a colder place where no one could trust anyone, people tend not to get attached to others, especially the ones going to space, no one knows what would happen. So they stick to addressing each other with the assigned color. No one really knows each other, even though they were trained together, and no one intends to know and trust each other completely. This mission was just a '30 days' mission and they would probably never see each other again.
