I started to walk with him following me up the stairs and to the small coffee shop. He must be really stupid or something cause we literally have signs with arrows up to Bean to help you get there. Well whatever i guess.
"Here we are, so I've got work to do so enjoy." I say to the guy, who I still don't know the name of but I don't really care. "Hey uhh.. thank you...ma'am." He said while rubbing the back of his neck and looking down. Dang I've never been called 'ma'am' it makes me sound old like a mom with her child in line at a grocery store. I walk away after that and return to my cart to start putting the books up.
After I was done I'm on my way to the back to get the new sci-fi books which I also have to put up. I fill the cart with all the new books in alphabetical order and start on my way to the sci-fi section. I put in my earphones and start playing my fav playlist. The first song to come up was one of my favs, American Boy(sorry if you don't like the song). As I start putting the books on the shelves I didn't realize it but I started slightly dancing while putting the books up.
"He said, "Hey sister it's really really nice to meet ya" just met this 5-foot-7 guy who's just my type. Like the way he's speaking his confidence is peaking.Don't like his baggy jeans but I'ma like what's underneath it"
This part started playing and I started to not really put books up and just dance at this point. My eyes were closed and I was whole heartedly just vibing with the music and let my body flow with the music. I then hit something hard and fell on my butt and hands. I opened my eyes to see someone towering over me looking down at me. It was the same guy who fell asleep on the chair while reading, "To All The Boys I've Loved Before". He then crouched down next to me and looked me in the eye. He had hazel cat like eyes that I guess I didn't realize earlier.
"Hey I'm so sorry are you okay can I get you anything, Ice, water, uhh an ambulance. WellIdon'tthinkthatyouwouldneedanambulance unlessyouranintomeataveryfastratethenyoucould haveaconcussion.
(Well I don't think that you would need an ambulance unless you ran into me at a very fast rate then you could have a concussion)
(What's your birthday wait that wouldn't work cause I don't know your birthday so for all I know your birthday could be today well then happy birthday if it is your birthday but if it's not then uhh happy early birthday or belated).
I stared at him blankly and just tiled my head slightly. "Uhhhmm I'm ok... I'm sorry for running into you... my fault entirely." I say with a smile. He stands up and put his hand out towards me which I accept. "Oh uh by the way I'm Kuroo Tetsuro and you are..." "Oh hi sorry I'm Nekomata F/N, oh and do you go to Nekoma high by any chance?" He looked at me with wide eyes, " Yes I do, how did you know?" "Oh well I saw your jacket... eheheh" I said while looking down
Kuroo's POV
She has the same last name as coach, it could be just a coincidence... maybe I'll just ask coach tomorrow at practice. "Oh yeah that would make sense... well I've got to go. I'm glad your okay by the way." I said before I left. I ended up not buying any books today but I plan on coming back to finish "To All The Boys I've Loved Before" cause Nekomata-San was right it was really good but since I fell asleep I didn't get to finish it.
I head home which took me about 5 mins and it was currently 5:20 which means my grandma should be done with dinner soon... hopefully. I unlock the door and am greeted by the smell of possible chicken katsu. "Honey is that you?" I heard my grandma ask from the kitchen. "Hey grandma how are you doing?" I respond as I slip off my shoes and walk to the kitchen. I see my grandma in opening the refrigerator and give her a hug. "Oh honey I'm doing well, I'm making chicken katsu for dinner I hope that's okay." "Anything you make will be just fine grandma." "I see you don't have any new books...did you finish a book at Hooked?" My grandma asks while grabbing the katsu sauce and placing it on the table. "Oh well I kinda fell asleep while reading eheh" I respond while rubbing the back of my neck making my way over to the chicken katsu. "Oh honey you really shouldn't fall asleep in public places you could get robbed. Oh also call down your grandpa for me will ya?" "Of course and I will be more careful to not fall asleep but Hooked is just so nice and peaceful."
I walk towards the stairs and call to my grandpa telling him that dinner is ready. He starts walking towards the stairs which I meet him at the top of to make sure he doesn't fall while coming down. "Tetsuro you really don't have to help me down the stairs every time I'm okay I'm not that old yet son." My grandpa says and I have him hold my arm and I lightly place my hand on his back for support. "But grandpa if you do fall one of these days while walking down I could never forgive myself if I could have helped prevent it." I say reassuring him it's okay. We make our way to the kitchen table and get ready to eat.
We finish our meal and I go to bed at 11 knowing I have morning practice at 6. Ugh how I hate morning practice I'm not really a big morning person.
Y/N POV
Beep* beep* be-
"UGHHHHH!!!" I yell out as I slam my hand on my alarm to make the annoying beeping stop. Ahh crap I don't want to wake up Aiya, my sister hates when I wake her up early. I didn't live with my parents cause they are on a 2 year long trip to the USA and left me and my sister alone with my grandpa. He lived not to far from our apartment which was quit large considering my sis and I had our own rooms. My grandpa wanted me to meet his volleyball team at one of their morning practices which is why I had to wake up so early. Ugh I got up and went to go brush my teeth and brush my hair. I wanted to make and okay impressions on his team so I won't be wearing some tee and sweats. I look through my closet and find a nice outfit not to fancy (in the slightest) but not too comfy.

I left a note on the fridge so my sister doesn't freak out when she wakes up. I grad my phone and start walking to the school which wasn't very far from where I lived. It's winter break I shouldn't have to wake up so early. It's slightly sprinkling but I should be fine. It was 5:55 when I left my house and I finally arrived at Nekoma - which I wasn't supposed to be at till like a week later but whatever. I was supposed to get here by 6 but it's 6:05. I stepped in the gym to be met with a ball to the face what a great start.
