Chapter 1 :)

Y/N's POV

"Bye Aiya I'll be back by 11!" I yelled as I walked out the door and then locked it. I get in my car and start up the engine, god it was cold I NEED to turn on the heater. It was December and all schools were on winter break. I was able to get my first job at the beginning of the school year at the local book store, Hooked. It was quit large being 2 stories high, it was your average book store tho. We sold all types of books, magazines, and a few games. We also had a small coffee shop inside called Bean. I lived about 5 minutes drive time away but 10 minutes waking, it was cold so I didn't feel like walking today.

I made it to Hooked and checked my phone. 4:00 sharp, god I made it write on the dot. I worked the night shift you could say 4 to 10:30 which was our closing time. I didn't mind the long hours it gave me something to do and I got a good pay. I was a 2nd year at Nekoma high, so I could get all the money I can. I grabbed my purse, lanyard, and name tag which I put on while in the car and entered the store and saw only a few people but some could be upstairs or in the far back near young adult. "Hey Y/N" I heard Miya whisper yell from the register. "Hey Miya" I replied as I walked over to her. "Kk well since you here ima go, I'm hecka tired." And with that Miya grabbed her backpack and headed out. I normally don't work the register, Ash does and I stock the shelves. Ash was running late today well as usual. "Hi Y/N is it okay if I head out now?" asked Shino "oh um yeah sure, I can manage by myself till Ash gets here." I reply "Okay thank you so much." And with that Shino leaves as well leaving just me and the store with a few costumers. After sitting for about 30 minutes just reading the newest romance book the door swings open with Ash running in soaked.

"Ayyyyeeee where have you been man?" I ask him in a soft voice as he approaches the counter. "Sorry my car ran out of gas so I had to run here from my house, oh and if you can't tell it's raining." He said motioning to himself. "Oh ok well it's not really busy anyways so your fine." I saw with a soft giggle. "Okay I can take register and you can go stock shelves as usual." Ash says walking right next to me motioning me to get up and start working. I nod my head and go to the back room to grab a bunch of the new romance books and put them on the rolling cart in alphabetical order. I start to move the cart into to romance section for young adult when I see someone sitting in one of the chairs near the area fast asleep. I stop the cart in the middle of the aisle and walk over to the man.

He looked about my age maybe slightly older, was wearing red joggers and a gray t-shirt, and a red Nekoma jacket over his lap. I looked at him for awhile, he had crazy bed head, looked like he would be tall, strong build, and was holding a book in his hands still asleep. I lightly grab the book from his hand. I looked at the title and smiled he was reading, "To All The Boys I've Loved Before" I slightly chuckled and shook my head. It was a good book I can't lie just surprised a guy like him would read stuff like this. I look up from the book and see him no looking up at me with sleepy eyes that were hazel. "Ahh oh u-umm I'm s-so sorry sir...here" I panicked and shoved the book back to him. He just looked at me and held the book. "Umm it's okay, sorry I fell asleep while reading I've been here for 3 hours and am running low on energy." He saws yawning "Oh wow you've been here awhile well we have a coffee shop upstairs is you want more energy to finish this amazing book. It's really god I highly recommend you finish it..." I kept rambling on and on how much I liked the book and the movie.

Kuroo's POV

This girl really like this book huh. She keeps talking about it, but it's kinda cute how excited she looks. I couldn't help but stare at her, she was beautiful. Her e/c eyes shimmering with excitement, her h/c hair that kept falling from behind her ear cause she was slightly bent down and looking down at the book. I looked at her name tag realizing she was a worker here. "Y/N" I read in my head, pretty name to go with a pretty person. I looked back at her face she was still rambling, god it was cute. "So yeah in all the book is way better than the movie, and the coffee upstairs is pretty good to." She said in a soft voice. "Oh umm can you show me to the coffee shop upstairs?" I knew it wouldn't be hard to find, I've been here before and got coffee from Bean before. I just wanted to be near her more. "Oh um sure I don't mind" she said with a closed eyed smile. I felt my heart melt a little, so pretty and cute. I stood up from the chair and left my jacket on the there. I noticed how short she was compared to me.
