Chapter 4: First appointment

A WEEK LATER.....

A week went by and it is time for our first doctors appointment. When I made the appointment I asked the doctor how many people can be in the room for the appointment because Colin wanted his family to be there and the doctor said only the parents can be in there so his family is going to wait at their house. We are going to their house straight after the appointment hopefully with some pictures. I think I am about 2-3 months pregnant. Colin came to my house to pick me up in his red jaguar car. Luckily it was very hot outside. It was the middle of July. I got into the car and we drive to the doctor's appointment. It was very windy. Luckily I brought my sunglasses. I put them on to help my eyes from the wind but my hair was blowwing all over the place. When we arrived we walked in and I told Colin to sit down so I could go check in. The nurse told me the doctor would be out in a second so I decided to sit down and read some magazines. There was a lot of informmation on pregancy and and I didn't realize that I was reading a magazine about what could go wrong during a pregnancy. I started to get very scared. Colin looked over at me and saw what I was reading and snatched it out of my hand. It was very obvious that I had a freaked out look on my face. The doctor came in and luckily it was a girl because on the car ride here Colin was telling me how he didn't want me to have a man doctor. He doesn't want a man down there. I walked in and changed into a gown because we were doing a vaginal sonogram. After 5 minutes of waiting Colin and the doctor came in. I didn't feel comfortable changing in front of Colin so I made him wait in the hall. When they came in we went to talking about my symptoms and when did I find out I was pregnant and all the possibilities that could go on during my pregnancy. After talking for a little bit we got to the sonogram. When I saw the baby it was very small. I looked over at Colin and he had the hugest smile on his face. I really like it and I really appreciated the fact that he wanted to be part of the baby's life. We got through with the sonogram and I asked for some pictures and the doctor said it was fine. He brought in the picture after I got changed and we left to go see Colin's family. I was really nervous to meet his family. Hopefully they like me because If they don't then this will be a long and awkward pregnancy. We got to his parents house and opened the door and......
