Saturday Night Supper

Freds POV

 me and george got ready for the supper mum always says to go casual but we always dress up a bit for her so she doesnt think we are slobs she thinks a t-shirt with a ''tag'' as she calls it of any type is disgusting and snobbish so we aways put on a nice shirt and suit bottoms for her 

 i got there and before i warned george i will kill him if he mentions davie or ronnie and he said ok 

we got there and knocked on the door i new mum liked davie because she would normally come to the supper and everytime she doesnt shes sad but puts it aside and says hello she never mentions her well unless it was us talking about the past 

she opened the door ''hello mum'' we said kissing her cheeks 

''hello dears how are you?'' she asked 

''pretty good'' i said 

''great'' george said nearly jumping up and down 

''george are you alright your nearly halfway up the wall'' mum said worried 

''umm yeah im alright im just excited we got the deal on the shop for hogsmeade'' george said nervously

''thats great'' she said hugging us again as we walk over to the living room for a drink ''soon enough you can franchise anywhere you want and then you will be able you travel'' she said 

''umm i think thats a bit fast i mean its only a shop but if that did happen i think i will be doing that more fred'' george said i was burning holes at the back of his head and he clearly felt it 

''whys that dear'' she said 

''i- um its just because freds leg isnt better yet and he is better with potions'' he said nervously

''nice cover'' i whispered 

''thank you'' he said i got a scotch straight up and george got a brandy we sat down and after we finished our drinks we went to the dinner table and ate 

''so what have you guys been doing this week'' she asked all of us 

''we had to help with more deatheaters like normal'' ron and harry were aurors so this was normal 

''we got a new shipment of books on monday so we have been quite busy'' granger said she works in a book store 

''same as everyday money goes in and comes out'' bill said i thought of a dirty joke but didnt say it because mum would probably beat me 

me and george just looked at each other clearly thinking of the same joke but didnt say it 

''we figured out what a socket does in muggle houses'' dad said i already knew what this was but i just allowed him to go on like everyone else does 

''what about you ginny'' my mum said 

''training nothing special there'' she said

''well i met someone very special to fred'' george said i kicked him really hard under the table the whole table went ''OOoo'' and i face palmed 

''so who is it'' my mother asked 

''her name is veronica'' george said what is wrong with him the whole table went OOoo again

''its not like that she is just a someone who i bump into and we chatted then george came in'' i said they all went ''oh'' really disappointed 

i kicked george so hard every ten minutes just so he knew he was in trouble 

''hmm about meeting people how is davie i havent seen her in a while'' my mum asked crap how was i going to get out of this with blabber mouth next to me 

i pinched him before he said anything and said ''we havent seen her until i saw her and her mum yesterday'' i said ''and then i saw her today too'' i said

''oh how is she'' mum asked 

''shes good she has changed quite a bit'' i said 

''a good change or a bad change?'' my mother asked 

''well you know how you got really worried because she was soo skinny'' i said very nervous that she thinks i am saying shes fat

''yes'' she said with an eyebrow raised 

''well shes gained the that you wanted her to have''  i said 

''well thats good at least she got the right amount now i was worried she was going to get an eating disorder the way she was eating'' she went on and on until i got a call

''sorry mum i need to take this'' i said standing up she waved me off as to tell me to go and answer it
