I called my mum for the first time in many months
Kashmeera: hey mum, how you doing ?
Mom:meeraaa!!! i am fine so you just deem it fit to call us all this while, aren't you homesick at all?
Kashmeera: mom i missed you that is why i am calling,i have been a lot of busy with school work that it
Mom:make sure you study hard andtake your time in checking out the good guys out there too
Kashmeera: mum stop bringing up this topic and of course you know for sure i would study hard, good bye love you muah.
Well i am not only busy with school work i was only preventing marriage talks with my mum,you know mum can be sooo frustrating when it comes to marriage talks and my ever busy dad he is less concerned about me getting married and i thank God for that i can't imagine if both my parents are so keen about it.as it is a culture my mom.is a full house wife while my dad is one of the richest business men in india so in short i was born with a silver spoon in my mouth

Mummy "ekule ma" i greeted my mum in yoruba though my parents are both educated people they are still keen on preserving our yoruba cultures. "Kaabo okomi" she replied;mum what so important that i have to skip work ,cant you take a seat and relax first before asking questions she replied ,mum you know am a busy man i replied ,your father was also a busy man she said anytimeshe answers questions like this i already know where this conversation is going so i had to prepare my mind for what is coming next. You know my son now you are an adult and you make decisions for yourself Yorubawould say "no matter how old a child is he would still remain a child to his parent" why won't you consider getting married your mates are already married with two, three, four kids now when are you going to get married ,i am attending my friends children'swedding when are they, going to attend my own child's wedding kunle when am i going to see my grandchildren.
Mum i would get married when i am ready and have found the ideal woman for me, i can't pick up a girl from the street and marry her.pls kunle i can set you up with a beautiful girl from one of my circle of friends children we cant say maybe you can like her; your friend's children that looks like a bunch of identical dolls they are not even modest if none of them are not modest "oda lo mu eyi ti o modest wale" who cares about modesty this days okay mum i have heard you. Even after my explanation my ever dramatic mom started another round of drama with tears in her eyes you know youare the only child i have pls make me happy "odemowipe mio loke mi leyin orun" let me be able to see my grandchildren before i die God knows i tried foranother it just didn't work please make me happy "dunmininu".
