Forgotten

Me, kentrell, three, boozilla, Ben, kd and our new addition boomer all walked down the street on our way to valley park to meet up with kentrell cousin meechy who was out there for some reason.

As we walkin pass falisha house we see a brown skin girl standin outside watchin her parents take stuff into they house. Obviously she just moved here.

"Say who dat is?" Ben asked and we all stopped walking and looked at him "nigga how tha fuck we suppose to know clearly they just moved down hea" kd said with a duh look on his face. "And y'all say I'm tha dumb one" he finished shaking his head causing us to laugh.

"Say lets go over dere" boomer suggested "why? Mane Y'all always wanna do stupid shit" kentrell complains shaking his head. "C'mon" Ben says walking towards the girl and I shake my head following them.

I guess she saw us coming cause she looked our way. "H-hey" she said waving at us "Wassam" "hey" me and gang said as we got closer. "What yo name is" boo asked her "Mercedes what's y'all name" she asked looking at all of us. "Ben" "three" "kd" "lani" "boomer" we all introduced our selves accept for kentrell.

I slap his shoulder and he huffs loudly "kentrell" he mumbles and she nods. "Where you move here from?" I ask her looking back at their car and house. "Pensacola Florida" she said and I nodded "oh...well it was nice meeting you" I said and she smiled at me.

"Yeah we'a see you" kentrell says fast then grabs my hand dragging me with him away from the girl.

"Mane you rude a hell" three said as they all caught up to us laughing. Kentrell shrugs his shoulders before looking back at the girl then turning back around.

• three weeks later •

I sat in the back of my mama car as we drove into Chippewa street. My daddy got out of jail three weeks ago and wanted to see me, my brother, raylynn, Mia and my mom. He got arrested on drug charges four years ago while he was in Seattle so that's where he is and we had to go.

He got him an apartment up there and that's where we stayed for two weeks. I haven't seen the boys in three weeks tho because they all were ignoring me. They didn't come and get me to hang out with them and when I went over to trell house he told me that he wasn't feeling good then shut the door in my face.

Before we left we rode pass the corner store and I saw them all together with a new addition. Mercedes. She was on trell a back smiling from ear to ear while they all played around. They just forgot all about me and let her take my place. I cried for two days.

When my daddy saw how sad I was he asked me to come stay with him. My mama wasn't having it tho. She cussed him out for "trying to take me" from her. He explained to her that wasn't happy and that it was good for me to come stay with him. She asked what I wanted and without hesitation I said I wanted to stay with him.

She was sad and so was my brother but they told me that we would all stay in contact. Now we're back in BR to get my clothes and stuff like that while my mom in forms the schools about me living with my dad.

When we got back the first place we had to go to was my grandma house. After I told her she gave a speech on how I should stay aware of all of my surroundings and be careful. She also told me that I better not get up there and act grown and I promised her I wouldn't.

Finally we pulled into my yard and we got out. "C'mon and get your things then we can go out to your favorite restaurant tonight" my mom told me as we walked into the house. A huge smile spread across my lips and I turned around to her as she shut the door "really?" I beamed and she laughed nodding her head.

"Okay" is all I said before running to my room and packing my things. "Fat ass!" She yelled to me laughing and I laughed too.

Four days later I got on a plane going back to Seattle. In the four days that I was home not once did I see kentrell or any of the boys. It hurt me but I was glad that I was moving and wouldn't have to hurt anymore.
