Meeting Marla Singer!

I was in town one day at the job centre as Michelle forced me to go when I came across an AA meeting.
I just thought "I haven't done this in a while,what time?"

I knew I was going to go I hadn't gone in a while I knew I wasn't and alcoholic but I am an attention seeker. But I loved the physical contact at the beginning when they ask you to hug another member as I never had physical contact growing up or even now people don't even want to come near me unless they were getting something in return.

Thursday evening 4.35

I walked into the grand halls entrance,at first I walked into the wrong room I was ready to do my big entrance then I found out that was the sex addict class,that was awkward. I finally found the right room,I walked in to find the physical contact was already happening they were all hugging each other I decided to take a walk around the room, and then I discovered a woman sitting in the corner smoking as I was about to approach her I heard a voice drop one of the members "Britney,you finally have someone to hug,why don't you hug...?".
He waited for me to answer with my name but I couldn't give them my real name I had to think on the spot.
"Oh um Nellie".
I said my grandmothers name I couldn't think of anyone else.
The member added "Britney why don't you hug Nellie?".
She approached me still holding on to her cigarette. She grabbed hold of me and lent her head on my shoulder.
She whispered to me "so 'Nellie' what's your real name?"
I whispered back "what's yours 'Britney'?".
She smiled at me.
She introduced her self "I'm Marla singer!"
So I introduced myself "ok fine,I'm Y/Fn,Y/Ln".
She smiled at me and said "that's a stupid name!".

I guess now I was formally introduced to Marla Singer.
