- I spun around in a circle, taking in my surroundings. I was in the middle of a forest, still in my PJ's. It was also really foggy and dark here and I couldn't see the sky at all under the blanket of tree's. A cold, sharp breeze ruffled my already messy hair as what felt like glass, which really was ice, brushed against my face.
- Taking a few steps forward, it felt as if the trees where inching closer and in them, was a predator, hunting me, stalking. SNAP! I took of into a sprint as instinct took over. It was a twig that snapped! I though, but I still ran, not wanting to know what made it so such thing.
- Running, I swerved around trees and jumped over logs as if the forest was an obstacle course. I was panting and my breath froze in my throat. The premature was dropping dramatically. I didn't even know where I was going! All I knew was that I had to get away. Away from that THING that was hunting me down as if I was prey.
- Scared too, I looked over my shoulder to where that THING was. It wasn't behind me. There were just trees, or silhouettes of them anyway.
- I turned back around only to run into a tree. It was tall and thin but it hurt like hell. Scrambling back to my feet, not even to bother brushing off dirt and leaves I started to run again only to realize it was too late.
- That tree wasn't a tree after all. It was a monstrosity of . . . Something! It was tall, thin. Like I said, and it was black, like a shadow made of goo. It's Nine foot tall figure word a good of red flesh and as it's illuminating red eyes were fixed on me it stroke it's long sharp claws carefully across my cheek.
- I shivered in fear as it showed jagged, sharp teeth in a grin. I screamed as the monstrous creature jolted toward me but within seconds I woke up in my sleeping bag screaming. Soft morning light lot the tent as my friends where shaking me awake from my nightmare. It felt so real. How was it not!?
