Shuichi's POV: I look at the blood dripping from my hands to the floor. I stick my fingers in my mouth and start sucking, his blood tastes like metal, it's sour.

I'm shaking really like a leaf out of joy! Ouma is safe now!

I place the knife in his right hand, we have a class together and I memorized what hand he writes in.

I decided to sneak out the window so no one would see me.
I'll take a shower, burn my gloves and clothes, and go to Ouma's house.

It's dark and cold outside but my house isn't too far away from Kaito's so I can make it in time.
When I reach my house I take my shoes off at the door and dash straight for the shower.

While I'm taking my clothes off I look at myself in the mirror...

"Someone to comfort you?"

I hang up the phone and take a step in the shower, the water is warm and soothing. The warm water can't block out my thoughts of what I just did.

A bright pink shade rushes down from my body and into the drain.
Never in a million years did I think it'd be washing my old friends blood off of my hands.
