Chapter 14

Carter POV
I was with Lily on the couch and we just watched a movie. Selena was working so it was just me and my sister watching a movie. After that her phone buzzed.
She checked her phone and made a face to the text she got.
"Who was that?" I asked.
"Cody" she said.
Ugh that name Cody just Bugs me a lot. He hurt my little sister. Yea I'm protective but that's who I am.
"Let me see the message" I said.
She just looked at me and refuse to let me see it.
"Let me see the message" I said again.
She gave up and and handed me her phone.
From: Cody
I'm sorry please talk to me please I'm sorry please please please talk to me I miss you.
I was so mad that he kept texting her.
"May I?" I asked.
"What are going to do?" She asked.
"Nothing bad. but are you over him?"
"Yes I am" she said.
"Ok I'm just going to tell him that"
"Thank you" she said with a smile.
I went back on her phone and started to text Cody.
To: Cody
This is Carter and I'm her brother I just found out. but I want you to know that Lily is over you. she doesn't want anything else so stop texting her.
I send it to him and I handed her phone back. we watched the movie until we got tired. Lily wanted to go home but I said that she could stay over the night.
Selena came home from work and she was extremely tired. she said her hello's to me and lily.
Lily POV
I was tired and wanted to go home. but Carter insisted to stay and sleep over. I understand that he's my brother and he's protective but, I'm old enough to do stuff on my own. I love him though because he cares and loves me the same way.
I'm glad that he told that to Cody because he wouldn't stop texting me and I was getting mad. Selena came home and she was tired. You can even see it on her face. She said her Hi's and went upstairs. Carter showed me the guess room. I thanked him and went in the room and layed down. I just remember that I need Pjs.
I got up from the bed and went to Carter's and Selena's room and woke up Selena.
"Huh Lily?" She asked.
"Sorry to bother you but girl can I get Pjs to sleep in?" I whispered.
"Sure you know where my stuff is at" she said.
I nodded. I walked to her drawers and picked out a tank top and pj shorts. After that I went back to my room and changed my outfit to the pjs.
Then I knew I was asleep.
~~~3:30Am~~~
I was sleeping when I heard my phone buzzed. I groaned and looked at what time it was. it was 3:30 in the morning who would text me at this time. I looked who it was and it was Cody. Ughh what does he want from me. I unlocked my phone and read the text message.
From Cody
Lily I know your sleeping but talk to me I really need to talk to you.
I rolled my eyes and typed back.
To Cody
I don't want to talk we're done I don't want nothing to do with you. You fucking cheated on me when you moved away to Cali but clearly I didn't mean anything to you and that I wasn't pretty enough. So hear this... WE ARE THRU! DONE BYE STOP TEXTING ME!!
I send him the text I was really angry and pissed. so I calmed down and went back to sleep.
Selena POV
Carter told me what happened between Lily and Cody. Cody is a jerk he hurt my best friend and that's not ok with me. I don't like seeing her hurt and upset.
We went to sleep after that. I woke up and went to Lily's room and woke her up. She told me that Cody texted her at 3:30. She showed me the text and I was glad she said that she's over him and done with him.
"Lily want to have a girl day?" I asked.
"Yea we haven't had that in a while. But what about Carter?" She said/asked.
"Well I think he's going to have the guys over" I said.
"Oh ok what time we going to leave?" She asked.
"Like in 45 minutes"
"Oh shit that means I have to shower and everything now" she saying so dramatic.
"Hahahahaha, me too what are we going to do" I say playing along.
"I don't know" she said.
We looked at each other and start to laugh. I left her room and went back to mine. I told Carter that me and Lily is going to have a girls day so he could bring the guys over.
He nodded. I picked out some cloths and went to the bathroom and take a shower. I took off my cloths when the door opened and I see Carter. he came to me and put his arms around me and I turned around to face him. Our lips touched and they were in sync. we broke the kiss and he said 'I Love You'. I said it back. he left and went in the shower.
The shower was done and I put my cloths on and did my hair and my makeup. I came out if the bathroom and waited for Lily to be done.
~~~2 minutes later~~~
Lily was done and we headed off to the mall. we bought some stuff. Like cloths, Makeup, shoes, beanies, snapbacks. today was a fun day I enjoyed it spending time with the best friend Lily and taking her mind off of Cody which worked.
