Noria always liked dark chocolate, equal parts bitter, equal parts sweet. His music, equal parts melancholy, equal parts uplifting. He never committed to one thing entirely until he met a boy about to jump off a bridge.

Adam is done with life...
Noria took off his shirt as soon he got in his room, and threw himself on his bed, sprawled with clothes and rumpled bedsheets, exhaustion washing over him. He stuffed his face in his pillow, images of Adam flashing through his head. He couldn't believe he stopped someone from jumping. Off a fucking bridge. He remembered the anger and pain in Adam's eyes, the way he so badly wanted to jump, to end it all. Goosebumps came alive all over Noria's arms.
Noria's phone chimed, and he groggily lifted his face, squinting at the text.
last night was so fun (;
love you, baby <3
Noria sighed and put his phone back down, wondering if he should text back, 'i'm not your baby', but then decided to leave her on read. Noria has made many stupid decisions, but last night he really crossed the line. It all happened fast, him going to his father's workplace for a party, the boss's daughter's sly smiles, and the next thing he knew, they were naked in his father's manager's office.
He grimaced. Noria should not have done that. Especially if the girl threw a fit and his dad would have to pay the price. He left the office as soon as he could, hence him bumping into Adam.
Adam.
What a strange, strange boy, Noria thought. He recalled slipping the crumpled piece of paper through Adam's arms when he was fixing the earbud. Noria almost smiled at himself. That was definitely not a stupid decision. Noria wasn't oblivious of Adam's stares nor was he oblivious to how he stiffened up when his fingers brushed his skin. If it weren't for the fact that he blushed like a virgin, Noria would pin him as a bad boy, one that wore all black with a buzzcut and a scowl etched on his face.
Noria turned and faced the ceiling. Still, he had no idea whether Adam would return to the bridge. Something was wrong with him, and Noria wanted to know what. Why was he in so much pain that he had to end his life to be free from it? Noria ran a hand over his face.
Noria stole a glance at his calendar, and huffed out. There were only two days left in the parent/teacher conference break, which meant he had only had two days to find a way to get in contact with Adam, and if he had to, cling onto Adam all day so he didn't end up wandering to that bridge again. Would Adam even bother calling Noria?
The morning sunlight poured into Noria's room, reminding him that the day had just begun, and that he had a lot of time to find Adam. Whatever happened, Noria would find Adam, and convince him that life was worth living. Whatever it took.
