The chase

The man was clearly scared like hell, not that I can blame him. A smirk gracing my face but no one can see see it  since my cowl is up. Its been a month give or take since i'd done this with my little war against .... People. I watched as he turned and ran toward the dark forest.

"Crap" I said as worry creeping into my voice. At least he can't hear me from this distance.

 Many would be surprised of an assassin admitting of being worried but if you're in a place you don't  know with a dark haunted looking forest no one can really blame you. Sighting I slowly started walking toward the forest following the man. Now that I thought about it I wondered how I looked like to him when I disappeared. Must of been funny.

 I was dragged out of my thoughts by the man as he trips and falls face first. I try to suppress a laugh but just couldn't. I mean who falls while trying to escape from a um.... a hunter.  Yea hunter~.(cuz that's not putting it lightly)

He got up again glancing back, noticing this I quickly move away from his field of vision. Miraculously I have the ability to move very quickly , giving the illusion that i have disappeared. Its a great ability but also a curse, that only one out of thousand people can have. There's other powers but I rather not think about it or more specifically the origins of them.

As the man finally reaches the edge of the forest. I quickly cached up and quietly climbed up a large trunk of a tree without making a noise with ease. Once I reach the top I look down at the running black figure trying to escape.

I leap to the next closest branch, landing with ease and quiet as mouse.

It was to dark to see, so with a sight I closed my eyes and reached deep inside a mental well or something, digging for the power. Once i found it I focused on it and keeped a steady force on it

 " Nótt Kharaa "I said.

 I opened my eyes and every thing in the forest became clear as day. I looked around and spotted the man running and dodging tree branches. I jumped from branch to branch making sure to not land on any weak branches that can either break or make some noise and give out my position. Once I caught up to the man I decided to have some fun and scare him.

I looked up and scanned for a small clearing in the forest were I can trap him. As I look to my left I see a small place with no trees. I look back at the man and notice he was going opposite of of the area. I quickly jump way ahead of him and jumped down to the floor. I took out 'Hell Fire' for extra measure.

???? POV

I woke up only to be surrounded by darkness... again. I blinked few times as my eyes adjusting to the darkness. I stood up and stretched my limbs hearing my bones pop, then casually walked toward the opening of the cave, looking around to see what awoke me. Then I felt it. It was like shock wave beckoning for me to follow. I knew this feeling from somewhere. But the question was where ? I stood there thinking from were for a few minutes. Then it clicked in my brain.

My eyes widen as I gasped.

"No it cant be! Not here not now."I whispered. 

I looked again searching for the source and pinpointed it somewhere in the middle of the Dükhelag Oviør or "Death Forest" in the common language. I got closer toward the edge on my right were I was able to fully see the forest, covered in a light red dome. I look down and see the deep abyss  seaming to be alive, waiting hungrily for it pray to fall. I stepped a bit back , then ran and somersaulted off the ledge.
