July 14th:
It was all over the news, that they are restoring the monarchy and they are finding close descendants of the former king Louis the 16 and Marie Antoinette. It was a major change to the way of life that France was used to and now that's why it was all over the news screens and buzzing on phones, their life was about to change, little did Marinette know was that it was about to change her life more than anyone.
3 weeks later :
They are still trying to find a descendent of the former king and queen and all of a sudden
Marinette's parents were acting suspicious and secretive and packing up after answering a concerning call.
They were driving to the louvre and pulled up near the entrance window it looked like a house and not where people look at history.
"Mom, dad why did you take me here?" Marinette's parents exchanged a glance and looked back at their daughter. "You'll find out in a bit Marinette, but all I'll tell you is that you won't be attending public school anymore."
"Okay?" Was all Marinette could say, not going to school?
They got out of the car and went inside people greeted her with a courtesy and said "Welcome to the palace of Versailles." Marinette was confused her parents stood back a foot and the everyone looked at her, bowing to their knees and said "Long live the Queen"
"What's going on?" The confused blunette managed to say
"They have found a descendent and that person is you, Marinette." her mother had said "WHAT!" Marinette whisper yelled
"Yep! But you can't tell anyone at all, everyone will find out on your coronation."
"Okay" Marinette said.
The staff had lead the family to their sperate rooms and after Marinette shut the door and am made sure that she was completely alone tikki came out of her purse, "Wow Marinette, Queen of France! Has a nice ring to it, don't you think?"
"Yes tikki, but I am scared how will Alya treat me, what will Adrien say?"
"Well if they are true friends they would treat you no different, though at first it may be a little awkward and weird they'll get over that fact and you all will still remain friends."
"I hope so Tikki." Marinette said sadly.
she was looking out a window and already missed home as she stared out the window onto the city before her now under her rule and protection.
