It's been 10 years, Marinette and Adrien were king and queen of England, Marinette was still queen of France her husband is still the prince consort, they have 2 children they have an older daughter named Emma she was the princess of Wales and the archduchess of Anjou, they also have a younger son, dauphin Louis of France and duke of Cornwall.
The nobles were upset how they made their daughter the heir of England and how there wasn't a unification of crowns when their son was born, however there is a meeting the discuss that, "Good Morning, you all are here because we know that you don't approve of the line of succession."
Sir Edmond was the first to speak "Your grace, as the rules stated in your marriage contract that the first boy to be born shall be the Prince of Wales, that son is Louis."
"Your right!" Marinette states, "However, France needs an heir and it was our choice to give our children their respective title."
As a matter of fact, I have an announcement, I'm with child.
if it's a boy Louis will receive the title of prince of Wales and Emma will be Dauphiné of France, if it's a girl things shall remain the same except the child will be the Archduchess of Anjou, if it's twin boy and a twin girl the boy will be the Duke of Cornwall and the girl will be the Archduchess of Anjou.
The nobles were in utter shock and congratulated the couple on their amazing news.
A few months later: "Queen Marinette is in labor!" Announced the chandler to the castle staff
Adrien's POV: It's been a few hours and Marinette is getting weaker and we can't take her to the official hospital now, he said a little prayer for his wife to make it through.
After 5 minutes the nurse gave her a pill to help her with pain, she is almost there the baby is almost here the medical assistant told me that the child could to be here in 10-25 minutes so far Marinette is doing much better than she did only 5 minutes ago!
45 minutes later: Hugo Duke of Cornwall born at 4:15 AM on Wednesday April 7th 2021.
Marinette is so exhausted from her 24 hour labor and delivery and she's currently sleeping, poor Mari, she didn't ask for any of this, her being queen, and all that's required of her.
But he knew she wouldn't give that up for the world and that also included our children, oh how Marinette was such a great mother to our children even though she's busy 90 percent of the time, she will always make time for them and give them a fairly normal childhood like what she had.
~A few weeks later~
Today is the crowning of the heir ceremony and the heir to England is Prince Louis, and the heir to France is Emma.
Emma is being driven to Norte dame cathedral to be crowned and be recognized as future queen of France.
The archbishop led Emma to the place where Marinette and other queens of France thorough out history have been crowned.
The whole royal family was there to support her and she took an oath to keep France safe and to do everything in her power to protect France when the time come for her to be queen.
A few weeks later Louis took that same oath for England at Westminster abbey and again everyone was there to support him.
