The blood is off the floor put you can see where it was. The stains on the wood. So I just look up. I think Ryan sees me have trouble so he hurries walking through with me. The League of Assassins are here. And I am the queen. Well I am the only female. They just never let me do amything, thank God. I would not sleep well if I did that. I guess Willy is throwing a party? Because the next meeting is next week. Strange, I'll go up to them.
So I greet them and shake hands. Being the pretty girl is very easy. Just smile and shake hands. Ryan got to second in command. I don't have any power. Just a figure. Sense Ryan and I are getting married, everyone likes me. They didn't before.
Wait. Who is that? I know him. "Hello?" He turns toword me. He tilts his head and takes off his mask. "Benny Boy!" He smiles and gives me a hug. I don't normally hug people that I'm not close to, so I just pat his back.
So we catch up on everything. "Congratulations on getting married to Ryan." His voice is harsh.
"Wait. You don't sound so happy?" I questioned him.
"Nevermind." He says in the same tone.
So I just talking altogether. And walk away while I'm at it. And I go back to Ryan and laugh when he laughs. Smiles at all times. I am in a formal party. Not in a room full of killers. This is fun. Everyone getting drunk. Ryan is not going to drink. Not anything besides soda anyway.
"So Kate, how are you liking the party?" Ryan asks, he is so nervous. He doesn't like big crowds or talking to more then five people at the same time in that matter.
"Fine. I'm okay. Thanks for asking. And how are you?"
He returns with a subtle smile, "I feel the same as you. Fine." So we just chuckle and talk about any and everything. Well now I know why we are alike. We both hate people.
