They saw Hermione's insane cousins in the elevator. Draco groaned internally but after a whole life of being raised as a Malfoy he knew not to let his frustration show. Hermione forced a smile. Her cousin, Alexandra glared daggers at Hermione, and then quickly smiled sweetly at Draco. Cecelia stood quietly to the side doing her best to expose her chest to Draco's eyes. Draco looked towards Hermione's annoyed face. They were almost to the bottom floor where the Grangers' breakfast would be served. There was a ding and the elevator doors opened after some silence. "Thank Gods" Hermione's muttered and Draco smirked.
After Hermione's small outburst Alexandra & Cecelia looked at each other and scoffed. How could she act so damn entitled when she was nothing more than dirt on their shoes?! Draco & Hermione stepped out of the elevator first, followed by Hermione's cousins. The two pairs walked down the hallway having separate discussions, those discussions most likely being about the others. They finally at the door which featured a sign that read "Reserved - Granger Family Reunion". Hermione & Draco walked in first and, upon their entrance Hermione's mother immediately called them over. Cecelia & Alexandra followed and, of course, no one excitedly called them over.
"Darling, I was just speaking to Julie about your work, at the... um... courthouse." Hermione's mother, Linda, said. Hermione and Draco laughed to themselves at Linda's use of words to describe the Ministry of Magic. "Yes Aunt Julie, I simply work to find and apprehend criminals there's not much more to it." Hermione said. Julie smiled at her and then stepped back to look at the couple collectively. "When is the wedding? I assume we are invited. We are family." she said almost menacingly. The engaged couple looked at each other and had a silent conversation where they agreed Draco would do the talking, he was more agreeable, at least when he tried to be. "We haven't put it on the books yet, but we're thinking next summer maybe?" He said trying to skip over stating whether Julie, along with her husband and children were invited. "Oh goody, I love summer weddings." Julie said automatically assuming she was, of course, invited. Hermione rolled her eyes while trying not to draw attention to herself, but Draco of course noticed and laughed quietly. Then Linda intervened, "You two should grab some food, we're leaving soon."

A/N
hello lovely readers!
I apologize profusely for being a really bad writer and writing so little so late but this is all I can do for now. As some of you may or may not know I suffer with multiple chronic illnesses and have been seeing a lot of doctors and have barely had enough time to read let alone write. I honestly wouldn't have gotten this far without people commenting on the last chapter. Thank you so much I love you all

ps how was that author's note the same length as the fanfic I will never know lol
