Aizakku: A class trial must have a punishment if possible. The only way to prevent it is if there is only one case with suicide case. However, If the suicide is the first murder it's automatically skipped and then the goal is switched to the second blackened.

Aizakku: No but we future foundation members are required to do lots of research about the rules of class trials for when we're assigned to go on cases. And most of them depend on the mascot and the mastermind. Meaning some rules may or may not be changed just to make it "entertaining for the audience"

Aizakku: Some mascots and masterminds' motives tend to be showing their killing games through worldwide television to spread more despair across. I doubt that this one is the case since we're in a simulation. It's happened before but it's a rare occurrence.
