It's the week of the thirty first anniversary of what Julie and the boys dubbed, "hotdog gate." Julie and the boys also discovered the ability to time travel. "Luke!" Julie shouts. "What?!" He groans, rolling over into her lap. "I wanna go to 1995!" She smiles. "Why?" Luke asks, raising a brow. "I wanna see a Sunset Curve show!" Julie pleads. "Uh oh!" Luke gasps. "What?!" Julie asks. "My fiancée's a groupie!" He smiles, kissing her head. "Hey!" Julie says, defensively. "The most imperfect, perfect one." Luke says finishing his thought, playing with one of her loose curls. "Let's go get the rest of the band!" Luke says, half asleep. "Reggie, go back to sleep! It's too early to go to Chicago for pizza!" Alex bites tiredly. "You're no fun!" Reggie mumbles, pouting. "I am exhausted bro, geez." Alex says, face planting back into his pillow. "Too tired to go to '95?!" Luke chuckles, holding onto Julie's hand. "Never!" Reggie beams with glee. "Guess we're all awake now." Alex says, as Luke nudges him. "Dude, this is a big deal for Jules, take it down a notch. Please!" Alex smiles, going over to Julie hugging her side. "Let's go, SUNSET CURVE, in three... two.. one!" Alex says, huddling them together. Luke puts Julie on his shoulders. "Hold on tight!" Reggie smiles, as they all teleport to 1995. "Wow!" Julie smiles, her eyes fixated on the marquee above them. "Let's go in!" Julie squeals. "Lean forward." Luke says, as they all head in and see Bobby. "Hey guys, who's your friend here Luke?" Bobby asks, smirking slightly. "I'm his girlfriend." Julie answers, trying not to vomit in her mouth from her uncle's shitty way of getting a girl's attention. "But I thought...." He starts looking between Alex and Luke. "Yeah, it didn't really work out bro." Alex sighs, not wanting to blow their "cover." Julie smiles slightly, before returning her attention back to her uncle. "Can't have them all, hey man." Bobby chuckles sympathetically, playfully tapping Alex's shoulder. "Anyway, let's get rehearsing!" Luke shouts, placing Julie down on her feet. "You're gonna rock it boys!" Julie cheers. "Hey, you gotta name Miss?" Bobby asks, genuinely curious. "Um." Luke starts, looking at her. "Uh oh!" Reggie whispers to Alex. "My name's Daisy." Julie smiles at the three boys holding their breaths. "Nice!" Bobby smiles, then they set up. "Good luck boys!"A woman behind Julie cheers. "Wait- mom?" Julie mumbles to herself, turning around. "Are you okay dear?" Rose asks, noticing Julie staring at her. "Um yeah sorry, you just look familiar." Julie says. "Oh haha, I get that a lot. I love your jacket!" Rose smiles. "Oh thanks, I uh.... I found it in my closet." Julie smiles. "Totally 1980s' rock!" Rose chuckles. "Thank you!" Julie beams, watching Luke adjust his mic stand. Luke looks up, and smiles at them. "Radiohead cover?" Bobby asks, and they nod. "Alright." He smiles playing "Street Spirt (Fade Out)." Luke smiles, as Julie makes her way down to the front row, smiling to her boys on the way. "Rows of houses all bearing down on me
I can feel their blue hands touching me
All these things into position
All these things we'll one day swallow whole
And fade out again
And fade out
This machine will, will not communicate
These thoughts and the strain I am under
Be a world child, form a circle
Before we all
Go under
And fade out again
And fade out again
Cracked eggs, dead birds
Scream as they fight for life
I can feel death, can see its beady eyes
All these things into position
All these things we'll one day swallow whole
And fade out again
And fade out again
Immerse your soul in love
Immerse your soul in love." Luke plays the last note, sitting next to her. "Oh my gosh!" Julie says, almost jumping out of her seat. "Hey pretty girl." He smiles, before helping her stand up. "Whoo! That was awesome you guys!" Rose cheers. "Thank you, we're Sunset Curve! Tell your friends!" Reggie says. "Uh we gotta go guys." Alex says to Luke, as they all walk over to Rose. "Why?" Bobby asks, overhearing him. "We're gonna go get some street dogs, wanna come join us?" Julie asks lying. "No thanks I'm a vegetarian, I could never hurt an animal." Bobby smiles, trying to flirt. "Ew!" Julie moans quietly, as she grabs Luke's hand, covering her eyes. "We're just gonna go now!" Reggie says, as they all start towards the exit. "Wait one second." Julie whispers, as Luke smiles. "Yeah totally." Rose says to Bobby, as Julie runs into her arms. "Oh hello!" Rose chuckles. "I am so sorry, I just really miss you mom." Julie confesses silently to herself. "Bye you two!" Julie smiles, walking outside. "You okay?" Reggie asks, as they all get ready to go home. "Yeah, I am. Now let's go home!" Julie smiles snapping her fingers, as they all fall into the garage. "Owe, that hurt." Alex groans, getting up. "Oh boy!" Julie smiles, as they chuckle. "Alright I'm exhausted." Julie sighs, and Luke puts her on the couch. Then they all start singing. "So no one told you life was gonna be this way
Your job's a joke, you're broke
Your love life's DOA
It's like you're always stuck in second gear
When it hasn't been your day, your week, your month
Or even your year, but
I'll be there for you
(When the rain starts to pour)
I'll be there for you
(Like I've been there before)
I'll be there for you
('Cause you're there for me too)
You're still in bed at ten
And work began at eight
You've burned your breakfast
So far, things are going great
Your mother warned you there'd be days like these
But she didn't tell you when the world has brought
You down to your knees that
I'll be there for you
(When the rain starts to pour)
I'll be there for you
(Like I've been there before)
I'll be there for you
('Cause you're there for me too)
No one could ever know me
No one could ever see me
Seems you're the only one who knows
What it's like to be me
Someone to face the day with
Make it through all the rest with
Someone I'll always laugh with
Even at my worst, I'm best with you, yeah
It's like you're always stuck in second gear
When it hasn't been your day, your week, your month
Or even your year
I'll be there for you
(When the rain starts to pour)
I'll be there for you
(Like I've been there before)
I'll be there for you
('Cause you're there for me too)
I'll be there for you
I'll be there for you
I'll be there for you
('Cause you're there for me too.)"
