Time skip to the battle of hogwarts, Harry's in the room of requirements trying to find the lost diadem.

Y/n felt scared for Harry, she was going to lose him.

Hermione and Ron tried to calm her down as she they were about to split up.

"Ron and I will go to the chamber to get the basilisk fang, we promise Harry will be alright." Hermione informed her best friend as they parted ways.

Y/n was headed to help Ginny with the younger children then join Ron and Hermione to find Harry...if she's alive by then.

Harry POV

I opened the box and there it was, Rowena Ravenclaw's lost Diadem, it was so small but I still managed to find it through all this clutter and mess.

But before I could touch it I heard a cold, harsh voice, "Well, well, well, what brings you here Potter." Harry turned his head to see Draco, Goyle, and Blaise with their wands pointing at me.

"I could ask you the same thing." I snapped, "You have something of mine, I'd like it back." Draco grumbled.

"What's wrong with the one you have." I said, eyeing draco's wand. "It's my mother's, doesn't quite understand me, know what I mean?" Draco asked.

"Why didn't you tell her? Bellatrix, you knew it was me." I asked.

Draco stuttered for an answer, "Come on Draco, don't be a prat"  Goyle told Draco but Draco still looked nervous and uptight about this.

"EXPELLIARMUS" I heard from just behind me, Hermione's voice.

Goyle tried to use the killing curse on her but she blocked it and Ron came to my other side.

He ran behind the three of them as they ran away yelling, "THAT'S MY GIRLFRIEND YOU NUMPTIES."

I looked at Hermione in confusion and she said "I'll explain later."

I saw that the diadem flew to the top of a pile of junk so I started to climb it.

As I was climbing Hermione saw me and joined in.

I finally reached the top after knocking down a couple more pieces of furniture.

After grabbing the diadem, I jumped to the ground with Hermione and I felt a hand on my shoulder as I spun around to see,

"Y/n." I said as I pulled her in for a hug.

She held me tight, we knew the situation we were in, one of us could die any moment.

So that's what I did, I held onto her like my life depended on it.

She pulled away as Ron came running back with a frightened look on his face.

He ran and quickly grabbed Hermione's hand, yelling, "GOYLE'S SET THE BLOODY PLACE ON FIRE."

I hesitated for a moment before I saw orangish light coming from where he ran through.

Fire.

I turned around and grabbed y/n's hand and ran for it.

Everywhere we turned there was fire.

I took out my wand and formed a sort of water bubble around us to protect us.

Ron found 4 broomsticks and handed one to each of us.

I trusted y/n to fly on her own since one day I remember helping her practice on her broom.

"DO YOU TRUST ME?" I yelled out to her as she was hovering above the ground, clutching her broomstick.

I had brought her out to the pitch so she could experience some fun, Malfoy was being mean to her again so I wanted to make it up to her.

"YOU REALLY DIDN'T HAVE TO DO THIS." she yelled, I could tell she was scared.

"COME ON YOU ARE A GRYFFINDOR, SHOW ME SOME COURAGE!" I yelled back to her, I could tell she was pissed.

She nodded, surprisingly, on second thought. I like her being in the air. Sure, she's scared but at least she can't roll her eyes at me, instead she knows it's better to listen right now.

"HARRY JAMES POTTE- AH-" She was cut off from the broomstick wobbling left and right, "JUST SHOW IT WHOS BOSS." I shouted, trying to help her.

"Who's boss? You are going to be dead meat when I'm back on solid ground." She threatened, it was pretty cute seeing her all scared like that.

I giggled and saw her trying to hold back a smile as she steadied herself, she was indeed having fun. I know her, I know when she's having fun.

She started to move around a bit more properly, "Hey- Hey look, IM DOING IT!" She said, with a smile on her face. As if possible, the smile on my face got wider. She's so adorable.

"I KNEW YOU COULD." I encouraged her. She started giggling, it was like music to my ears, that sounds weird but when you like someone, it's not.

I snapped back into reality, grabbing a broomstick I started flying.

Making sure I kept an eye on y/n, I don't know what I would do without my best friend.

Out the corner of my eye I could see Blaise and Malfoy on a table with fire surrounding them.

"WE CANT LEAVE THEM." I yelled to the rest of them.

"HES JOKING RIGHT?" Ron questioned, I started to head backwards, toward Blaise and Malfoy.

We tried grabbing them but failed so I went back to try again

"IF WE DIE FOR THEM HARRY IM GONNA KILL YOU!" He yelled, where's the logic in that sentence?

We flew towards them.

I grabbed Malfoy and threw him on the back of my broomstick. Ron grabbed Blaise and i'm pretty sure Goyle fell into the fire.

We flew to the exit, Hermione in front, then y/n then Ron and finally me. Hermione shot a spell to split the fire for us to go through and I could see the exit.

We flew out and hit the ground pretty harshly, Draco and Blaise ran away but I still had dust surrounding me.

Hermione and Ron were pretty near but I saw Y/n flew back pretty far.

I got up slowly and the diadem was set on the ground.

I grabbed the basilisk fang and as quick as possible I stabbed the diadem.

I flew back to the wall as black smoke came from the diadem.

Ron came forward and kicked it into the room of requirements. Suddenly the black smoke turned into a shape, Voldemort's face. It started coming towards us but the door shut just in time to stop the black smoke.

I felt a weird way, I slammed into the wall before i could do anything. I felt unable to do anything.

I need y/n.

3rd person POV

Harry must've felt something when the horcrux got destroyed so y/n wanted to comfort him but suddenly she felt a cold wrist grab her hand but before she could say anything.

She wanted to speak but before she could do so, the other hand grabbed her mouth and heard a spell being muttered, soon enough she felt her eyes close shut.
