"NO!" I yelled out, but luckily before he could finish saying the killing curse, Ron yelled "EXPELLIARMUS" and the wand flew out of the blonde's hands.

I was still running and I had officially reached where y/n and Ron were standing.

Lucious looked defeated as he turned around and ran away.

"Thank you so much Ron, if you weren't here y/n would be dead." I said as y/n gave Ron a tight hug.

Ron stumbled backwards a bit as Hermione came and laughed at Ron's clumsiness.

Remus and Tonks came in after her, Fred and George following along.

I slowly grabbed y/n's hand and remembered what dumbledore told me.

He said something about a box? What box?

Suddenly I felt a small, square item in my back pocket.

'What could it be?' I wondered, then I realized.

I realized that in the moment that I was so close to losing y/n might as well do things I wanted to for years.

I grabbed her hand a bit more tight as we slowly walked a bit to the middle of the open ground.

"Harry what are you doing in the middle of-" she giggled but I put my hand on her mouth to signal her to be quiet.

She rolled her eyes as I removed my hand.

I looked around.

'Not perfect but it's the right time I suppose, now or never.' I thought as I looked around at the people.

Y/n caught onto my nervousness and started rubbing my hand.

"What's wrong?" She asked but I pulled my hand out of hers.

I slowly gripped the velvet covered box that was somehow in my back pocket.

I bent down on one knee and brought the box in front of her as her face lit up with happiness and excitement.

Everyone around us stared in shock. Joy from every face.

"Y/n granger, will you marry me?"

5 years later

Y/n POV

"Ow!" I yelled as my daughter threw her toys at me in a playful manner.

"Oh- mommy!" She gasped as I fake cried and as soon as she came over to check on me I grabbed her and threw her in the air.

She started giggling as she acted like she was flying.

"I love you Astella."

"I love you too mommy."

My heart warmed at those words coming from my cute baby girl.

We kept giggling and playing as I heard a ring from the doorbell.

Astella kept playing with her toys as I ran downstairs, happy to see who's at the door.

I unlocked the door and saw the face of Harry James Potter.
