The Training Center is a tall building designed exclusively for the tributes and their teams. It has thirteen floors, a training room at the bottom and one floor for each district. We all step in the elevator, which is made of glass, and I press the button marked with '4'. It's easy enough to remember.

I've ridden the elevator once back in District 4, which was yesterday after the reaping. But that's a creaky old thing that moves at the speed of a snail. This elevator moves like lighting though, and I'm tempted to ask Kylie if we can ride it again, but that seems childish.

Apparently, Kylie Sprocket's duties didn't end at the station. She and Isla are here to see us all the way to the arena. And at the moment, Kylie is bubbling with excitement.

"I think I've managed to get you some sponsors." She said to me and Wade. "But I've had to be mysterious, because Isla only knows your abilities, Wade, and I cant only mention you because that would look like favouritism. So I've done the best with what I have to work with."

My room is larger than my entire house back home. It has a massive, king size bed backed up against the wall, and soft blue carpets on the floor. One wall is made completely of glass, so I can watch the celebrations down on the streets below. How lucky.

Another wall is completely covered in buttons. Half of these are for clothes, and the other half is for food. All I have to do is press a button, and in less than a minute the food is ready.

The bathroom is nearly as big. The shower alone has over one hundred buttons to control the temperature, pressure, scent, bubbles, foam and oils. After that, all I have to do is stand on a mat and it sends hot air out to dry me. And then I just have to place my hand over a button to send a stream of heat out to dry my long hair.

I get dressed in grey sweatpants and a blue hoodie, just as Kylie calls me to dinner.

Jinx and Cordelia are there too, which I'm glad about. They both have a calm type of energy around them. I sit down at the table, opposite Isla. She was talking to Wade, but she cuts his long speech about his amazing abilities off to talk to me.

"What is your best weapon?" She asks me. I have to think about this for a moment.

"I can throw knives."

"How well?"

I pick up the knife in front of my, and close my fingers around the cold metal. I pull my arm back, then thrust it forwards, letting go of the knife as I do so.

The knife whistles through the air and lodges itself in between two of the wooden panels that line the walls. Everyone seems to stare in shock, but Kylie composes herself first.

"Well, that was amazing!" She beams at us, as if she had just thrown the knife.

"It really was." agrees Isla, and I cant help but smile, until Wade starts speaking again.

"I can throw knives like that too." He says. I glare at him.

"Of course you can." I say, rolling my eyes. "I bet its one of your many talents."

He seems to realise that its sarcasm, and now its his turn to glare, and Isla carries on like nothing happened.

"Show your knife throwing off in the group training." She says, "The tributes from District 1 and 2 will want you in an alliance. And being small gives you an advantage, because you can climb trees."

I nod, and Jinx joins the conversation.

"Me and Cordelia have your training outfits for tomorrow." He says. " And don't worry, they don't match."
