The ride around the city was nice, quiet music coming from the radio as it played some tune you didn't recognize. It may have been uncomfortable or odd to anyone who maybe wasn't drunk, but you felt at ease.

You rested your head against the window sill as you gazed about. The window was rolled down and the cool breeze brushed through your hair, the street lights all blurring into one as Ed sped through the quiet roads.

Your rationality had been drowned entirely by then, the obvious red flags of the situation seemed awfully green to your inebriated self.

But you didn't care.

You were going to get revenge and you couldn't wait.

Halfway through the ride, you felt something take home on your thigh. You peered over at Ed, his right hand was caressing and kneading the flesh as his eyes remained on the road, his left hand gripping the steering wheel.

His ginger hair was flowing in the wind and the mixed streetlights and moonlight cast over his prominent brow bones, hiding his eyes and highlighting his inked forearms.

You had to admit, he looked like a god in the moonlight.

You smiled and turned back to face the road, the rim of your dress gradually being pushed higher up as you allowed his hand to continue to grope your thigh.

Eventually strolling down to a halt, Ed parked before a fancy looking apartment facility that harboured countless levels and was painted a dark grey, looking as if it touched the sky.

Taking his keys out of the ignition, he eyed you with a devious smirk before exiting the car and offering you help out of the seat- which you gratefully accepted.

You looped your arm around him as he assisted you to the door of the complex. Your steps had become slightly sluggish from the lemon drops and you struggled to maintain balance, Ed helping you keep stable until you reached the elevator.

"Thank you," you mumbled, grabbing the support beam in the elevator as he chose the desired level.

"Don't fret," he comforted as he rested his hand on the small of your back, the elevator jolting into motion.

You both stood comfortably waiting for the elevator to reach his housing level, barely audible elevator music playing over your shared silence.

Once you heard the ding, the doors opened and he rushed you out of them, reaching the first door on the right. As he fumbled for his keys, you looked around the dead hall.

The walls were encompassed in a sandy yellow wallpaper with white trims on the top and bottom of the surface, the few doors and frames painted jade. A few paces from each door held its own small table with fresh bouquets in expensive vases. The hardwood floors were covered by a rich looking carpet that led down the hall and ended at a huge painting.

This place certainly had a credible budget.

Ed called you back to reality as he held his door open for you. Your hips swaying and heels clicking behind you as you strutted into the room.

It may have been an apartment, but it sure as hell wasn't cheap.

On your left was the kitchen, open and immaculate with polished marble counters and shining steel appliances. The wooden cabinets that framed the counters were mahogany with silver handles, adding a nice pop of colour to the otherwise bland room. A large island sat in the middle of the space, with silver lamps dangling above it, emitting a gentle light that filled the space.
