Sam walked into her new high school. Her heart beating rapidly. She wasn't so used to being sourrounded by people. After the incident in her old school, Sam refused to be social. She closed herself off from everyone.

Her parents weren't even able to talk to her about the misery she suffered in her old school. The only person she could even remotely bring up the name of her old high school with was her brother, but Sam realized that he couldn't always be around her. She knew she had to follow her brothers advice and move on and be strong. That didn't stop the fear Sam felt though, as she thought about the possibility of her old high schools events happening to her again in her new high school.

She was so lost in her thoughts and walking quickly to avoid the crowd that she didn't realize she was about to crash into someone. "My books"! Sam screeched as she crashed into the person and her books fell, scattering all over the hallway floor.

She quickly dropped to the ground, trying to recollect her books as quick as she could without attracting too much attention. She had hoped to avoid an embarrassing situation  like this, especially on the first day, and couldn't help the anger that boiled inside of her as she brought herself face to face to the person she crashed into.

As soon as she looked at him, she felt like she was unable to breathe for a moment. His eyes were a mesmerizing blue. The kind of blue that made it impossible to not want to look at. The kind that could hold her gaze for ages, and she wouldn't complain.

They were beautiful put in plain and simple words. Sam examined his arms, tattoos splattered all across them, with a heat radiating off of them as a warning of danger towards Sam.  She would be lying if she said she didn't feel the least curious about them. She wanted to know the tattoos. She loved knowing the meaning behind things. "Excuse me, the guy snapped angrily". Sam reverted her eyes from the guys arms to his face.

To say he looked like an Abercrombie model would be an understatement. Clearing her head Sam coughed before saying "sorry what"?. The guy looked at her, and Sam would be lying if she said she wasn't scared. "Can you fucking watch where your going or are you blind", the guy with tattoos said with a pissed off tone. Sam hated being spoken to that way, and refused to be demeaned by some jerk. She snapped back angrily. "Wow I didn't know bumping into you would be such a huge fucking deal. I wonder what happens when you break a nail. I bet all hell breaks loose or you transform into a mix of sharkisha and godzilla at the least."

Sam realized that if looks could kill, she'd be dead by now by the way the guy with tattoos was looking at her. He chuckled lightly as Sam smiled to herself in her head, and took a step closer to her.

Sam became an inch away from his face, and she could feel the dangerous vibe flowing off of him. "Don't fucking call me a stupid ass name like sharkisha, my names trent. And I'd love to break those pretty little nails of yours if you don't watch what you say to me". Sam feared this guy with tattoos. Why she messed with him? She didn't even know, but the way he talked to her pissed her off and She wasn't about to back down now. Sam brought herself together and continued talking.

She made an exaggerated face faking to be scared "ohhh Trent sharkisha I'm so shaken, you really got to me". Sam and Trent were getting the attention of others in the hallway. "Don't worry bitch, you don't know who I am only because your new here. Ask anyone around here who I am and they'll tell you that you'd have a death wish to try to mess with me. And if I happen to make you shit your pants and make u cry, don't come to me crying because I'd say I told you so".

That was all Trent said before pushing Sam to the side and began storming down the school hallway. Sam flinched with pain as he made his way past her and muttered a low "asshole." She stretched her arm to try to lessen the pain, as a girl with pretty hazel eyes and long brown hair walked up to hair.

"Hey I'm Kayla, are you new here"? "Yeah I am" Sam smiled at kayla while still moving her arm. " I can't believe you just had the guts to talk back to trent", Kaylas eyes widened in disbelief. " It's not like he owns the school", sam retorted. Kayla laughed. "Uhm actually he kind of does since you know he's probably the most dangerous guy in here and gets what he wants, and is a gang leader. As Kayla continued to talk Sam kept rewinding back to those few words and immediately cut Kayla off.

"Did u just say he was a gang leader"?. Kayla replied with a "yeah" as if it was the most obvious thing in the world. Sam couldn't believe Kayla's words. It was her first day in her new high school and she had messed with someone dangerous, and to make matters worse he was a gang leader. "A freaking gang leader" Sam mentally cursed herself in her head. Sam could only think about one thing. What has she gotten herself into.?
