Chapter 2 (rewritten)

(A/n) OK so that Matsui last name plot line is so foreign to me so if I don't bring it up in the future.....that's why.

(Y/N)'s POV

   "Here we are..." I mumbled before taking a deep breath. It had been 6 years since that incident and now I was a '16' year old young lady with a set goal in mind.

   "Ava, are you sure you'll be alright on your own? You could always apply here." The concern in my voice was more than evident, but in case it wasn't you could most certainly see it on my face."(Y/N), I'll be fine. You worry to much. Of course I'll be fine." She said trying to comfort me. Though we were 'siblings' I couldn't help the overprotective feeling I got when I was with her." If you say so...." quickly I stepped forward and kissed her forehead before ruffling her hair." Be safe ok? And remember to call me every night before bed! If I dont pickup remember to text me instead!" I said Sterly." Of course, of course." And with that she was waving goodbye at me as she walked away.

   Once she was out of sight, I turned back around to look at the gate that marked the beginning of my new life at cross academy. With one last deep breath I walked inside.

   Finding the headmasters office was like looking for a needle in a haystack. Some might say," why not ask someone where it is?" Well that's harder then it sounds when everyone was in class. Sighing I leaned against a near by wall in defeat." I wanna give up." I sighed out before realizing what I was doing. Rolling up my sleeves up I slapped my cheeks and shook my head." Come on (Y/N)! Your not a quitter!" With my new found determination I set out on my mission again.

  I hardly made it a few steps before I heard someone call out to me." Excuse me miss?" I turned around and was meet by a male with brown hair who looked to be about to be my age. But telling by his uniform he could actually be older then he looked." Yes?" I replied." Are you lost by any chance?" Was it that obvious? I mean I looked like I wanted to die a few seconds ago so, if he saw that it was a definite yes. Sighing I nodded my head." Yes...I can't seem to find the headmasters office." The male let out a slight laugh at probably how distraught I looked about that fact." Then I shall show you the way if that's alright with you?" He offered, and with a quick nod of the head he was showing me the way.

   As we walked side by side I stoll a quick glance at him. He wasn't all that bad looking. Definitely above average, but most vampires were." I'm (Y/N), (L/N)." I said with a smile." Kaname Kuran." He said in response.' Kuran, huh?' " So your a purebood vampire then?" I asked, deciding to look at him this time." Yes I am, are you versed in vampire history?" I simply nodded in response to his question." Not completely but for the most part yes."

   Finally we reached the headmasters office and I couldn't help but smile." Thank you so much. I probably would still be walking around if it wasn't for you." I thanked him. We exchanged a few more pleasantries before he took his leave and I was left alone once again.

   Taking a deep breath i turned around and knocked on the door. With a small,"come in" making its way to my ears i turned the knob and my life at cross academy was starting to officially begin.

(A/N FUN FACT)
when I first wrote this originally didn't even like Kaname and thats why there was no romance between him and the reader. 😌😌😌 I like him now so we're getting the same ending but actually chemistry between (Y/N) and Kaname!
