When Two Eyes Meet

Ch.1

~Selena's pov~
I woke up in such a good mood this morning. I got out of bed and headed towards the restroom.

I brushed my teeth , washed my face and I plugged in the straightener and started straightening my hair . Once I finished with that I applied makeup. I looked at myself in the mirror before I walked to my closet

I put on a pair of refuge "boyfriend" dark wash ripped knee jeans and a white weekday knot tank top and I put my black hightop converse as I checked my outfit in the mirror .

I walked downstairs and went into the kitchen and poured myself a glass of orange juice. I sat down on a stool and my phone rang .

I looked at the caller I.d. And it was Demi so I answered it

"Hola chicka ! " I said with excitement

"Wow someone woke up on the right side of the bed !" Demi laughed

"Actually I did"

"So do we have cheer practice today captain ?"

"Yes ma'am"

"Alright I'll see you at school tootals !

She hung up and I put my phone down and my mom walked into the kitchen with Gracie in her arms

"Goodmorning sweetie" my mom said with a smile
"Goodmorning mom and goodmorning baby !" I smiled at Gracie

"Oh mom today I won't be able to pick up Gracie from preschool because there's cheer practice after school"

"Oh that's ok sweetie I'm getting off early today so I can pick her up"

"Alrighty well I gotta head to school did you want me to drop off this cutie here?" I said as I grabbed Gracie from my moms arms

"No it's ok I don't want you to be late go on now have a good day" my mom kisses my cheek

"Ok then " I gave my mom a hug and gave her Gracie and I walked out the door and got into my black Range Rover and drove off to school

Once I arrived I got off and headed toward my locker but then Demi and vanessa came skipping towards me

"Well helloooo Selena !" Both vanessa and Demi said at the same time

"Hi guys !" I laughed

"So Demi here tells me your in a good mood today , you finally got a boyfriend ?" Vanessa smirked

"Oh gosh no Vanessa I just woke up happy is tht not normal?"

"Sel when are you gonna start datin again"

"When I'm ready"

"Seriously Selena you need to get over nick that was like 4 months ago he's moved on why cant you?" Vanessa sighed

She was right me and nick dated for almost 1 1/2 years . I loved him I really did but at some points I felt like he didn't even care for me and he was just in this relationship to be in it and honestly most of the time I had this feeling that he was cheating on me . He moved on like not even a week after our breakup and it hurt , he started dating Ashely but then they broke up a month after .

Now he's dating this girl named Emily . It was so easy for him to move on but for me it's so hard.

If your wondering why we broke up , than your about to find out . We argued way to much , for the smallest things and it was ridiculous I tell you ridiculous , I don't really know who broke up with who but we both kinda just decides to end things , he did it for who knows what reason but I did it because it wasn't healthy for our relationship to be constantly arguing and I knew it was just not going to work out so I did it because I felt like it was the best for both of us .

We decided to stay friends but we hardly talk and that's because I try to avoid him . It hurts knowing he's not mine anymore it hurts knowing he might have not loved me back the way I loved him . I did everything for him , but all he ever did was treat me like shit. But I couldn't break up with him because I loved him to much to do so . Until that day came where we both couldn't take it anymore.

"Hello earth to Selena !" Vanessa snapped her fingers in front of my face

"Oh uh sorry" I looked down

"Seriously move on sel it's for the best ! He moved on right away it's time for you !"

"It's just hard Vanessa I loved him so much"

"If he actually loved you the way you loved him he would of put more effort into the relationship and try to fix things but no. Honestly it seemed like you were the only one trying in the relationship , please Selena listen to me , I hate seeing you like this , move on please it's for your own good" Vanessa pleaded

"Your right I need to but it's gonna be hard and take time"

"Don't work selly me and Demi will help you through it , this weekend we should have a sleepover ! If you guys aren't busy" Vanessa grinned

"I'll let you know by Thursday !" I smiled

I hope I get through this and finally move on Vanessa was right . It's for my own good. No more nick ! No more .
