Ch.4

(SELENAS POV)
When I saw Nick he smiled warmly at me nd I gave him a fake smile
"We meet again I see" he said smiling

"Ahh I see that , aren't you late for football practice though?" I said

"Yeah I had to run home I forgot my cleats"

"Ahh I see well better get running coach will be mad at you , nice running into you .. Again see Ya!" I waved nd walked off

I unlocked my white Range Rover and I got into the drivers seat . I turned on the ignition nd I plugged my phone into the stereo. I put on of course my favorite song Dear Future Husband by Meghan Trainor , I pulled out of the school parking lot and drove home I was singing along to the song

After every fight just apologize

After I pulled up in my drive way i unplugged my phone and turned off the ignition , I got out of my car and locked the doors I walked up to my porch and opened my front door

I put my duffle bag by the front door and my bag on the couch . I walked into the kitchen and saw my mom cooking

"Hey mom , you need help?" I asked her while washing my hands

"Oh hi sweetie and can you cut the carrots please ?"

I grabbed a cutting bored and a knife and started cutting the carrots

"How was school ?" She asked while stirring whatever was in the pot

"It was good , I umm bumped into Nick like twice today" I said rolling my eyes

"And how did that go?"

"Ugh idk mom he's just Im trying to forget him and it's not going very well " I sighed

"Sweetie it's ok if you haven't moved on I mean he was your longest relationship right?" She asked looking back at me

"Yeah he was , but how did he move on so easy like that hurts me the most because that makes me feel like he never even cared nor loved me"

"It's ok sweetie everything happens for a reason , your beautiful he's not the only guy out there , I'm pretty sure there's plenty of guys drooling over you but you don't notice because your still into Nick but that's totally understandable , girls take longer to move on from someone then guys do , sooner or later your going to find someone and your gonna tell yourself "it was worth the wait" everything takes time " she smiled warmly at me

"I really needed to hear that thanks mom" I smiled and hugged her

I finished cutting the carrots and I washed the knife and cutting bored .

I went up to my room and decided to take a nice warm shower

I grabbed a towel and turned on the water
Once it was warm enough I got in .

After my nice warm shower I got out and dried my self , I put on my robe and put my towel around my hair and walked into my room I checked my phone and Saw that Demi texted me

Demmzzz😈- omg sel ! You know for cheer practice and how there was football players ? I saw the guy I was hanging out with at lunch over there practicing!! He's a damn football player !! Oh gosh I need water !! 😍

I giggled at her message

Me:oh so you going to be dating a football player ehh 😉
