I don't own One Piece obviously. And well, years later the art still isn't mine. Let's dive in, shall we? Quite literally.

It was so loud. So very loud... Or rather, she was so loud. Who? Yes, her.

Shirahoshi that was. Hancock could tell just by looking at the stunning mermaid in front of her. The only being to ever come close to matching her beauty. It was absolutely unacceptable. Someone like Shirahoshi could take her beloved away from her! She wouldn't allow it! But... oh Kami how she wished the mermaid would stop crying. Truly, she didn't appreciate it at all.

After her small talk with Luffy regarding... THAT. The whole love ordeal, Hancock felt herself lose most of the vigour she normally had, and so when they got to where Luffy had supposedly said the food was, she went in without hesitation, even though a large massive door -decorated with weapons, and not in a nice way- was apparently where Luffy had said the food was... well, Hancock hadn't found herself questioning it. Maybe she should have.

She didn't think the mermaid princess would be on the other side. Luffy hadn't even been that determined in getting the food. His thought's elsewhere, which Hancock wasn't even surprised at. She was so cruel to not give him a proper answer. All she had done was kiss him again and only disrupt the fire even more. Luffy didn't get it, clearly... She really should just give up.

But she didn't.

So now, here she was, both her and Luffy, covering their ears in an attempt to block out the everlasting cries of a certain mermaid princess. Honestly, the girl was a complete child. Hancock wouldn't be caught tearing up at anything without good reason!

"She's so loud! What do we do?" Luffy had tried to shout over Shirahoshi's blasting voice. Quite frankly Hancock didn't know. Sure she could shut the girl up with violence, but well... Perhaps that was too harsh? Luffy probably wouldn't agree to it. But, before Hancock could say or do anything in response, both she and Luffy caught the presence of something approaching fast. What was it? They both turned, catching glimpse of an axe being flung through the crack in the door they'd left open. Great...

"Lu-" Hancock tried, knowing Luffy would be capable of stopping said axe. And indeed he was, as Luffy had leapt up nearly immediately and caught the axe mid-air. Hancock could feel herself wanting to swoon over her beloved's strength but resisted the urge to do so. The axe was redirected at the wall and smashed into it, leaving a massive mark where it hit. There were now shouts coming from the hallway, and Hancock now had a sneeking suspicion that they were about to be found out.

"W-Why did that axe fly in here?" Luffy huffed out, tired from deflecting the axe as he had. "Where... did it come from?" He glanced at Shirahoshi who worse a complete look of shock, and the Hancock, who made her way over to see if he was alright.

"I'm... not sure" Was really all Hancock could manage. It was then that soldiers could be heard, coming in most likely due to the princess's cries for help. Hancock wasn't all too concerned, as men would always bend to her will, but... She supposed Shirahoshi wasn't aware of such things. At that moment, both Hancock and Luffy were scooped up in one of the mermaid's hands and held behind her back.

"Hey! What are you doing!?" Luffy shouted in disagreement. He didn't at all like being manhandled. Well, Hancock didn't like it either, but she was more concerned over the fact of how close Luffy suddenly was. After all, they were both pushed very loose together thanks to the mermaid's grip being so tight. Hancock didn't know what to think. She was being held, upside down, with Luffy, and he was... he was... too close. Nonetheless, the soldiers came in, and Hancock knew that Luffy being loud would only get then caught, so she managed to free one of her hands and cover his mouth.
