As I watched his car goes. I just freeze there at the window panel. My feeling was so messed up. Whether it was happy or sad. I just don't know.
"Hey, Ian. Come join us for... Oh he left already?" says Mike with a bacon slice in him mouth.
"Shut up, Mike. Now you need to tell me what happened." As I stared at him. Half mad.
"What? You know what happened. He is with you last night. Not me. I'm not like that" he chuckled.
"Damnit Mike. You know what I meant right." I'm making a serious face at him. That how I force him to do something for me. Just freaking serious face and he is down. Haha.
"Okay. Okay. He was carrying you back home last night. You looked so helpless. So I asked him to accompany you. That's it. Nothing more." He said it so casually and finishing the bacon in his hand.
"Ewww. Don't touch my stuff with your dirty hand. Now tell me. Why you let me alone with him? I'm not a kid anymore." Snatching my album book from his hand, and I clean it like it has dirt on it. I really precious the album book. There is so much memories in that.
Mike was making face like a child who just get his candy stolen. "What? I'm just trying to help you."
"Help? What do you mean?" I narrowed my eyes at him.
"Duh, Mia. Stop playing dumb. I know you like him since we are kid. You know "the look" you have every time you look at him. Your eyes like you see Mr. Bunny" He laughed and messing with my hair. I hate that.
"What? No. I'm not. Don't compare Ian and Mr. Bunny. " I'm blushed. I tried to hide it. So I turned my back towards him. "Stupid, Mike." Slowly I said.
"You are the one who dumb. You scared to make the first moves. And Ian was dumb too. How come he didn't notices you for such a long time? You are single because of him. Pity my little Mia." His wiping his eyes creating fake tears like an old parents in the movie.
"Stop the drama, Mike. You are so annoying. Get out now." I'm pushing him towards the door. I don't want him to say more. Because everything he said was true and I can't accepted the truth.
Suddenly Mike stops and he is too heavy for me to push him out. Slowly he turn facing me. He look down. His face look calm and sad.
"Mia. I loved you. I will never let anyone hurts you cause I'm your brother." He said in cracking voice and he leaves.
