The one and only-newt maze runner ~ reader

My name is....

"Welcome to the glade greenie" what the hell is a greenie?  Why the hell was I here? "Shove off gally, she just woke up she does not need to hear your speech" the boy who I assume is gally walks off kinda upset, " sorry about him he hates everyone"  " it's fine..". " my names newt, do you remember your name?"  I tried to remember anything but I came up blank, so I shake my head as a no. I don't know why, but I felt like I could trust newt with my life. Night fall come sooner than expected and all the boys come and gathers around the soon to be lit fire pit. One guy came up to me " hey I'm alby, I heard that you had one hell of a first day green bean". What is up with everyone calling me that? " why does everyone keep calling me greenie?" " it means new person" oh, weird way of saying that, soon I see newt, alby and some other boys grab torch's and light them on fire " let's lit them up!" Alby yells, they throw the torch's and lit the statue on fire. I walk around for a few minutes until I hear gally " hey greenie what do say, wanna se what your made of?" He asks more like commands, I could already tell he did not like me, " oh sure why not" I say not very keen on getting my ass handed to me on the first day but you know what might as well let loose and have some fun " rules are simple greenie, I try to push you out of the circle and you try to last more than five seconds" gally explains, understanding the rules I nod my head and he charges at me, I managed to move out of the way in time and he falls flat on his face, I hear everyone surprised that I moved out of the way and they all start laughing he gets back up and tells me over his shoulder and I fall and smashed my head on to the ground I groan out of pain and hear shouting. I see newt try to get into the circle but the other boys are holding him back I see that gally is turned away so I take my shot, I kick his legs out from under him and he falls to the ground but before he falls he pulls me down with him causing me to fall and again smash my head on the ground, but this time something hit me...... my name, I remember my name, it's Anna. " wait... I remember my name Anna I'm Anna" I practically yell and then I hear cheering and shouting " Anna, Anna, Anna, Anna" all the boys were yelling my name as a victory shout, newt gets free of the boys grip and rush's over to me, and a good thing to, my vision became blurry and I lost my balance and started to fall, thankfully Newt caught me before I hit the ground again, he picks me up and carries me to what I presumed his room from the smell of sweat and masculinity and over all the smell of boys, not the worst smell he lays me down on the make shift bed and the ground and he takes a sit in the chair
