"Boys will be bugs right?"

First Person POV

"What are you doing here." He says sounding agitated.

"My job." I scoff rolling my eyes at him.

The group of people all look confused as I open the door to the room. When I walk in I am met with two pairs of eyes staring back at me. One pair belongs to an older brunette man with streaks of gray throughout. The other man had long blond hair pulled into a bun, but unlike the older man, he is handcuffed to the table.

"John, stop talking," I told the blond man as I walk to the table.

"What charges are holding my client on," I ask now addressing the older man.

"He is a prime suspect in this murder investigation and is just here for questioning." The man says voice laced with annoyance.

"So what I am hearing is you have him here on no real charges and questioning him without me being present," I state matter of factly becoming more confident.

"Yes, that is what I'm saying." He sighs becoming more irritated.

"So I need those cuffs off so I can take my client home immediately." I shoot back crossing my arms.

He nods his head and walks out probably to get the key. I stand silently next to John waiting for the agent to come back. But when the door opens, Spencer walks into the room instead.

"Y/n what the hell are you doing?" Spencer said whisper yelling.

"What the hell I am doing you and your colleagues are illegally questioning my client," I answer back eyebrow raised.

"This man is a prime suspect in three murders," Spencer says, trying to reason with me.

"I would like my client out of these cuffs now or you will be receiving a lawsuit," I say raising my voice.

Right as he walks out the other man walks back in with the key. After the handcuffs were off I lead John out of the room. We walk side by side through the station. The eyes of the group piercing my back.

Spencer's POV

When Y/n and suspect were gone the whole team turns towards me.

"Who the hell was that," Asked Morgan crossing his arms.

"A girl I knew from high school," I say thinking back.

"It doesn't look like you guys were too fond of each other." Emily pointed out making everyone nod their heads.

"Yeah, we hated each other," I said, my voice drifting off still thinking about her.

First-person POV

After dropping John off I made my way back to the firm. As I drive I think about Spencer. He looks older due to my last time seeing him being senior graduation. He got quite attractive, but I quickly shake those thoughts away. I could only imagine how much more obnoxious he got since high school.

When I finally pull into the firm parking lot it was quite late. I sped to the entrance and head back to my office passing Erin's desk which was now empty.
I grab my bag that was still there and I put my paperwork into it. As I am about to leave I knock on Martin's office door.

"Come in." I heard a deep voice say on the other side.

"I was just coming to say I was leaving for the day," I said with an awkward smile.

"Okay have a goodnight Y/n," Martin says shooting me a tired smile.

{Time Skip after Y/n gets home}

I sigh as I take my keys and open the door to my apartment. I instantly take off the uncomfortable heels and restraining belt around my waist. My body relaxing on account of being able to breathe properly.
