I walked back into the dorm room and saw terra obsessing over stellas empty room she had a weird Stella grief going on weird so I decided to help her move the plants into Stella's room then lazily sat on the couch and scrolled through Instagram absentmindedly I came across a post and of course rivens name popped up in the likes. I thought about it I really wanted to apologize to him mostly because I just wanted to talk to him but I couldn't because of the million what-ifs running through my head like what if he makes fun of me or decides to lash out the unracked guilt I had though didn't make things easier so I paced around. until musa walked up to me

 "will you stop it it's killing me," she said

"what," I said a bit dumbstruck

"the guilt the pacing stop''

"oh ok imma go and fix this," I said and walked out not really knowing where I was going so I just stared at my feet while walking out in an oversized brown and black tie-dye hoodie and black cotton shorts and I had fluffy pink unicorn slippers on that I was currently staring at so I walked right into someone the impact made my boobs hurt ugh I looked up to apologize to see the last person I wanted to talk too but also the person I was subconsciously looking for. I looked up and met his eyes expecting him to at least say something then he looked at me with a mocking almost playfully judging smirk but soon returned to his usual stick up his ass demeanor. 

"Watch where you're going," he said maintaining eye contact 

I gave him a questioning harsh look and proceeded to blab "you're the one that bumped into me I think a simple sorry would suffice" I said 

"going to see your boyfriend," he said sarcastically before I got a chance to reply he just carried on " don't worry blooms not there"

"he's not my bloody boyfriend," I said he just scoffed in return

which seemed to strike a nerve with me " can you drop it I'm not sleeping with sky I went to get my charger AND YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO BE MAD AT ME NOT THAT I CARE BUT YOU KNOW GO FUCKYOURSELF"

he scoffed and said " whatever "

"I really hate you I just wanna kill you," I said

"do you wanna go down to the forest," he said

"what no," I said a bit taken back

"why not," he said

"because I'm mad  at you if that wasn't obvious," I said

"ok I'm sorry for saying you slept with sky," he said sarcastically 

I just turned around and walked away and then I felt a pair of arms around my waist turn me around and he threw me over his shoulder

"riven put me down I'm pretty sure this is kidnapping " I yelled

he just kept wordlessly walking until we reached a corner at the end of the cafeteria and then he put me down and I punched his arm

"ow you psycho what was that for," he said 

"what do you want," I said

"ok look I'm sorry for being an asshole," he said

"I'm sorry for being a bitch" I said 

"ughh alright if you laugh I'm gonna kill you ''he said

he looked at the girl in front of him in her stupid unicorn slippers and curly hair how her face scrunched up when she looked confused and the way she kept playing with the piercings on her ear and looked at him with such a strong demeanor that it could only be affection or pure hatred he hesitated before approaching the situation curious to whether he should play along or mend it. she gave him a weird look curious to what he would say next hoping it's just what she wanted to hear.

"I kinda like you okay and sky well it just got to me and I didn't know how to deal with it," he said

I looked up with a smile on my face but this was a genuine smile like it naturally molded my face and I couldn't suppress it even if I wanted to for god sakes he just said he kinda likes you is the bar really that low I thought to myself but I still couldn't stop smiling 

"took you long enough, "I said and lightly laughed 

"you're the one whose  wearing pink unicorn slippers," he said laughing

"stop my feet are always cold," I said

and then I saw a familiar redhead walk right past us I walked a bit in front and pushed riven behind me.

"blooms going to meet Beatrix" I said

"how," he said

"I just saw her and Danes probably helping her shes been obsessing over her birth parents for so long and now I'm supposed to believe she just dropped it because Beatrix got caught," I said 

"well how do you know its dane" he said

"well your next to me so that only leaves dane "I said 

he just rolled his eyes and then I slowly started following bloom we saw her talking to dane outside the shed they kept Beatrix in

"I told you so," I said with a smirk

then bloom walked in and dane turned around looking in our direction so we moved behind and then saw professor Harvey make his way towards us he hadn't really seen our faces just our backs so we made a run for it.

"fuck run Harveys coming" riven said and he took my hand and dragged me with him somehow we full-on sprinted till rivens dorm and I just sat on the floor then eventually lay down on the floor groaning. 

"I'm never running again," I said 

he just walked and sat on his bed somehow not as out of breath as me I got up and walked to the corner of his bed to pick up his phone and check the time it was almost 12 am.

"I'm going back to my room and your walking with me," I told him he looked at me questioningly 

"This place is haunted they'res no way I'm walking alone,"i told him

he groaned and then sat up on his bed facing me and wrapped his arms around my waist brought me close to his chest and said

"why don't you just stay here"  his face close to mine and his arms slowly bringing us closer I could feel myself naturally lean in and he closed the distance connecting our lips and deepened the kiss he fell back on his bed with me on top of him and his arms on my lower back pulling me even closer until I pulled away breathlessly and looked at him and said 

"Nice try but I really have to go back," I said lowkey scared of spending the night there 

he groaned and got up and walked out with me we were walking in comfortable silence he was a bit behind me until I turned around and he wasn't there and I looked around until someone grabbed my shoulders and I yelled more like shrieked really loudly only to see riven who was now laughing his ass off.

I slapped his shoulder "you scared the shit out of me' i said holding my chest

I then made sure he was walking right next to me and he kept laughing occasionally and I kept bickering we reached my dorm and when I reached out to open it the door wasn't budging 

"let me try " riven said

"it locked" he concluded looking at me with a knowing smirk I messaged on the group chat and tried calling them but none of them replied so I sighed in defeat internally happy
