"okay, let's split up for now,"

"eunbi unnie don't you think that's a bad idea?" hiichan retorts

"we clearly shouldn't split up," hyewon chimed.

what choice do they exactly have now. two of their friends are dead. they have to find the three keys before they run out of time or else they'd be good as dead too.

the girls tried to fixate their eyes towards a building that had lights on. they found it odd how it was the only building that had lights on, and of course, whatever something or some place is weird.. the keys must be there as well.

the game master wouldn't bother much on hiding the keys anyways.

"should we check there for the keys?" yuri asked.

the girls gathered up forming a circle. "split into two teams," eunbi ordered. "we can get the keys faster and get out of this place as soon as we find those keys,"

nodding as they agree, they split up into two teams just how eunbi suggested.

with eunbi's group having yujin, hyewon, hiichan, and wonyoung. yena's group with yuri, nako, chaewon, and saku.

"i really have a bad feeling for this.." hiichan sighs.

as eunbi was leading the way for their group she heard hiichan. "unnie is here, as soon as we get what we need we'll be out immediately."

"unnie is right, hiichan. and besides, look what i found!" yujin exclaims.

they all girls whipped their heads instantly towards yujin expecting the item that they were looking for.

"the keys?!??"

everyone had their hopes up. finding the one key was a head start, but ofcourse, it wouldn't be that easy, wouldn't it?

yujin beamed a bright smile, "even better!" raising her hands that were holding an item. "a glow stick!" she proudly shows it off.

the girls sighed and shook their heads simultaneously.

"we're looking for keys yujin-ah." hyewon says.

yujin pouts. "it's really cool though."

"we have flashlights in our phones you giant puppy,"

"yeah but the glow sticks are still cool, this might help us with something hiichan." the lass defended.

they rather shut their mouth than arguing back at the latter. her puppy eyes were showing and the girls couldn't afford to make another remark so they just quietly took the glow stick.

hyewon examines the glow stick that she's holding. "how long do these last?"

"approximately 8 to 12 hours. but we'll be done in no time right?" hiichan quips.

wonyoung squints her eyes, her gaze never left from her phone. "unnie.. this is weird, look at this," she hands over her phone to eunbi. "see? the time is running too fast."

"what do you mean?"

"the time is running too fast yujin unnie, here." wonyoung says as she hands yujin her phone.

yujin was in disbelief of what she was seeing. "wah and here i thought the game master was atleast kind enough to give us 2hrs for the game..."

"yah the battery is low now too." hyewon piped in. she was looking at her phone while yujin was talking.

"it's a good thing that you found the glow stick yujin-ah.." eunbi compliments.

yujin gave a smirk towards hitomi who just scoffs and shook her head at the lass.

"yah! if you said it last to 8-12 hrs doesn't that mean we have to hurry up?"

"hyewon unnie is right, we only have one (glow stick) and if we have to find the keys with a limited time then we got to hurry up." wonyoung remarks.

immediately snapping the glow stick for it to light up, yujin took the lead since she was the one holding the glow stick.

"i just hope the girls know about this too.." eunbi huffs.

they hold hands together to not get lost and be swallowed by an empty void. yujin was brave enough already for leading them first. the girls attentively looks over their surroundings.

it was a normal building. nothing odd outside, and that's why they found it sketchy at the first place.

the hallway looked too empty, not even a single furniture could be seen.

just an empty hallway.

"how is it that only two rooms in the building had lights on and the rest is just empty and dark hallways."

"the game is designed like that." hyewon claims.

yujin squints her eyes, sending sharp looks at the girl. "how would you know unnie?"

hyewon rolled her eyes towards the latter. "it's always built like that. games are suppose to make it look like it's easy when in reality it's not." she sighs deeply, pressing her lips into thin line. "i've played enough games to know that by now."

"so if it is like a game..." wonyoung pauses as she looks around the place for anything that might be useful to them. "there should be hints then?" it rather sounded like a question, but nonetheless, the girls agreed to it.

every game has hints. it just matters on how they can find it.
