Chapter 12

Angel's POV

I woke up in the cave alone. I started panicking until I heard footsteps in the cave and picked up his intoxicating sent. He stepped around the bend and I didn't think about what i was doing, I just sprinted over to him and basically tackled him. After I thought about why I brought him here I got really worried,"Jello are you okay? You aren't hurt or anything are you? Sorry I brought you here instead of home but it was closer. I tried to look over you but I fell asleep. I didn't have time to check for any wounds. Are you hurt? Oh I'm going to kill myself if I didn't take you home where you could get help if your hurt! So-"

"Angel I'm fine I was just tired after looking for you for so long. I am surprised that I didn't get attacked though. Do you know how dangerous it is for you to run off like that! I was worried sick! I didn't even think about anything I just chased after you. I should have went back to get help, then we could've found you. I was so stupid to think-"

I cut him off with a kiss. I had meant for it to be gentle and it started out that way, but it soon turned to a heated passionate kiss that set my world on fire. When we finally pulled back I was gasping for air. Angelo started kissing my neck and I leaned my head to the side to give him more access. Abruptly he pulled back. Before I could help it a small whimper of protest escaped my lips. He just said, "Later."

He went back to the house to get a picnic basket and to tell the others that I was fine, just a little weak so he didnt want to move me yet. While he was gone I was restless. I paced, explored a little, I even thought about going on a quick run. The idea soon faded because Angelo told me he would be right back and I wanted to be here when he got here. I didn't want to worry him about me anymore. So I stayed in the cave like I promised.

It was only about 10 minutes till he got back. When I saw the picnic basket I was shocked! It looked like it could feed 20 people. "Um, why do have a picnic basket that size?"

"Well this is the one me and all of my brothers use when we are heading out for a day. So it has to be huge to feed us all don't you think? I still filled it up for just us anyways."

"Why?" I asked slightly confused at his motive.

"Because I'm not sure I'm going to take you home soon." He told me this looking straight ahead but I could still see the smirk he was trying to hold back. He started leading me into the cave. We walked for a good 15 minutes before he told me to close my eyes. I did and he lead me forward while I was faced with darkness. I could hear water flowing and every now and then the beating of soft wings. Not like bird wings, more like butterflies. Next I felt my feet hit grass. What the heck was grass doing in a cave? I heard a thump like the basket was being put down. Then he stopped me and walked around me putting his arms around my waist and told me "Angel, open your eyes."

I did exactly that and I was faced with was looked like paradise. Angelo lead me up to the top of the mini waterfall and took out a blanket. He laid it out and set the basket down before tackling me. We went rolling down the hill spinning over one another because his arms were locked around me.

When we stopped rolling I said, "I'm really glad you realized you don't have to be so careful around me. We are going to have so much more fun."

We played around tackling each other and pouncing before we went back to the picnic site. We laid down lazily before we ate a bunch of food. Just as soon as I finished up my peanut butter sandwich, Angelo pulled me onto his lap. He didn't try anything which surprised me and also, lets admit it, disappointed me. I was just sitting on his lap with his arms around me, watching the butterflies and listening to the waterfall.

After what seemed like forever, I decided I would have to be the one to get things going. I moved his hands from around my waist and stood up. He looked a little disappointed until I sat back down on his lap only facing him this time. I wrapped my arms around his shoulders and kissed him with everything I had. I deepened the kiss and he let me explore for a minute before he took over dominance. When I pulled back I rested my forehead against his. When he had caught his breath he said, "I was beginning to think you weren't going to start anything. What took you so long?"

I said, "I was waiting on you." Before we shared another passionate kiss. And of course, one thing led to another....
