Chapter 3

I walked in my room and layed on the bed, closing the door behind me.
What am i doing here? why did my mom have to kick me out? now i'm living with my kidnapper? what the hell?

All these questions racing around my head and i eventually fell asleep.

A man walked in the room. It was my moms drug dealer. He picked me up and ran. Through the streets into the forest.
Mom drug dealer- your mom hasn't payed me
Skyler- i will get her to i promise
Mom drug dealer- it's not good enough!

I screamed and he took a knife out of his pocket and was about to stab my chest.

I woke up with a cold sweat and my heart beating out of my chest. I was breathing really fast.
I looked around for a clock.
2:45am
ugh why am i still dreaming about my mom and her stupid drugs?
i ran my fingers down my hair and layed back down.

i tried to get back to sleep but i couldn't
should i go and see jaden?
i got out of bed and quietly walked to his room.
I looked in the room next to me.
Nope
I looked in the other room
Nope
I then looked in the room at the end of the corridor.
i saw jaden sleeping in a huge bed, in the huge room. The room was gold and black with an ensuite and a walk in closet. He had a fish tank built into the wall by his bed. It was like a movie.
Skyler- jaden?
He didn't wake, should i go back to my room?
Jaden- skyler?
Skyler- oh i'm sorry jaden, i'll go back to my room.
Jaden- no wait, what's wrong?
Skyler- i can't sleep, i had a nightmare
Jaden- come
he patted the bed next to him
i creeped over and got in the bed next to him.
He warmth warmed me instantly.
i smiled and him
Jaden- your fine, just try to go to sleep and i'll go sleep in your room
Skyler- no sleep here, it is your room
Jaden- you sure?
Skyler- yes it's fine, i love your room
Jaden- thank you
i turned over a fell asleep.

i woke up and jaden was buttoning his shirt up.
Jaden- oh your awake?
Skyler- mhm
Jaden- well i'm going to work, my servants and chefs are in all day today, so if you want anything ask them.
Skyler- ok thank you
Jaden- right i'm going now, bye skyler
Skyler- see you later jaden.

i got up and got in his huge shower.
i finished in the shower and put one of jadens hoodies on.
My hair was left to dry and i walked downstairs.
I saw a another women come up the stairs.
?- oh you must be skyler, jadens told us about you, i'm lydia
Skyler- hi lydia, it's nice to meet you
Lydia- the chef has made you breakfast and i'll clean jadens room ready for him coming back.
Skyler- ok thank you

i walked to the kitchen which felt like a mile away.
Chef- hi caro! (hi dear!)
the chef was quite old and was italian.
Skyler- hi
Chef- so today you have pancakes with bacon and maple syrup, with a side of fruit and a drink of homemade orange juice.
Skyler- thank you so much!
Chef- your very welcome

i sat down and finished my breakfast.

i wondered through the massive house admiring each and every little thing. Everything was so fascinating.
I finally found a living room.

i jumped  on the big couch and noticed a blanket on the side. I grabbed it and threw it over me. Then i knocked the tv on and put on netflix.
I settled on the vampire diaries and started watching that.
I watched it until 3pm.
i'm so tired

i fell asleep.

JADEN POV
i told maria this morning to do a little makeover in skylers room so it wouldn't be so empty.
I parked the car and was about the walk in the house when i heard shuffling behind me.
Jaden- whose there?
i clenched the gun in my pocket.
jaden- come out now or i will shoot
the rustling stopped.

i walked inside and locked the door behind me.
i pressed the button on the wall
Jaden- call bryce
Machine- calling bryce...
Bryce- what's up?
Jaden- think we might have an intruder
Bryce- who?
Jaden- i don't know yet but i heard something and it definitely didn't sound like a animal
Bryce- i'll send people now
Jaden- ok man bye
Bryce- bye

i walked into the kitchen
chef- oh hello jaden, would you like anything made?
Jaden- no where's skyler?
chef- oh i'm not sure, she wondered off after her breakfast
i walked off and looked in every room until i got to the living room
and there she was.

sleeping softly with the blanket and the tv still playing. Her breathing was soft and she looked-
Jaden stop it. your not in love. there's no such thing as love so stop thinking this way

she moved and opened her eyes.
Skyler- jaden?
Jaden- hi
Skyler- your back?
Jaden- yeh but i might have to go back later
Skyler- oh ok
she got up
Skyler- i must have fell asleep
Jaden- yeh you did
she smiled at me
Skyler- i'm going to head off to bed
Jaden- yeh go ahead
she walked past me
why do i feel like this? i've never felt like this about any girl what's wrong with-
Skyler- AHHHH
skyler screamed out of the top of her lungs
Jaden- skyler?!
