Chapter 3

D - Noora

Someone shakes me awake . I open my eyes and see Draco's face.

N - Draco ?

He quickly puts his hand over my mouth . 

D - Shhh follow me. do not wake Pansy please 

Unable to speak I nod my head and he moves his hand away from my lips. He pulls back the duvet covers to hurry me along and I rush to cover myself up, only in my little pyjama shorts and top I feel overly exposed in front of him . He smirks a little at my reaction and grabs my robe that was draped over the back of a chair. I look at him totally disappointed and slip my arms into the sleeves, pulling it tightly around me .

N - It is what ?  .. 2:30 am Draco. 

D - 3:45 am, exactly

N - You gonna kill me ?

D - You're so smart Noora I didn't know that 

He chuckles, to himself more than anything. I let out a quite giggle too, trying not to wake Pansy. 

N - Seriously Draco ... why wake me up at this time ..? Could you not wait till morning ?

D- Actually I would love to, but no because we can only see this thing at night

I follow him not to sure of my safety . We arrive at a kind of lake .

N - It's beautiful 

My voice comes out as nothing but a whisper .

There are kinda of lights in the water produced by I would say Bugs that looks like fireflies. It is very beautiful . 

N - Why did you want to show me this Draco ..?

D - You wanted us to be friends, Right?

I gulp down the no that's on my lips. For your father, Noora .

N - Yes

D - So I brought you here to show you my favourite place

N - We only just start over ... I never thought you would open up so easily and quickly to me ...

D - Why not ..? Honestly I prefer to show you this place rather than Pansy Blaise and the others . Because you are not like " oh my god Draco be my friends please" or " Hi Draco you should come to my dorm tonight"

At his terrible impression of a girl voice I let out a giggle that bounces across the surface of the lake. 

N - You are famous Draco 

I look up at him, the first genuine smile passing my lips since he wake me up at stupid o clock in the morning . 

D - To much to be honest

N - So why do you act like that ?

D - Like What ? * his gaze darkens *

N - Like a first-rate asshole ?

D - I am not !!

N - Yes you are Draco

Draco looks out across the lake and lets out a sigh before turning back to me. 

D - Because I am a pure blood !

N - And ?

D - I am better that's all

My lips part at his arrogance. Up until now it'd seemed like he was changing, but it must have been sleep clouding my judgment he's still the same Malfoy. 

N - I don't believe it. 

D - What !?

N - Hermione is not a pure blood but she is definitely the best girl at Hogwarts ! Pure blood or not means nothing Draco .

I turn to leave, shaking my head. 

D - It's easy for you !

N - Really !? 

D - Yeah !

N - NO IT'S NOT DRACO !!! DO NOT TALK WHEN YOU DO NOT KNOW ANYTHING OF MY LIFE !!

He takes a step back away from me. 

D- Alright calm down, Miss Snape

I sigh and sit on the grass and look at the lake, my chin resting in my hands. 

N- And you ... why'd you never want to be friends with me ..?

D - You are Snape's Daughter

N - So ?

D - Don't tell anyone but he scares me a bit to be honest

N - Oh god * I giggles *

D - Yeah ... 

There is a small silence between us, but it's not awkward, we just stare out to the lake, out breathing the only sound. 

N - You know that Pansy will be jealous ?

D - I don't care about her she is just my sex friend

Draco shrugs his shoulders, his eyes never leaving the delicate ripples on the lakes surface.

N - Sex friend ? Did you really just say those words to me ? So delicate of you . 

D - I couldn't think of the correct term . And it's not my business if she feels something

N -Not you. But your actions?  Yes . That is on you Draco

D- I don't care. I told her it's only sex. It's her problem now not mine

N - You are such a kid Draco. 

We both laugh and he turns to look at me for the first in a while and honestly I appreciate this Draco. He is good and I love it. He can be funny who would thought it ? Certainly not me. Should I tell him ...? Nobody deserve that ... to be use ...

D - What are you thinking about  ? How you will kill me ?

N - No ! * I laugh * no..nothing don't worry

D - You are a terrible liar 

N - I can't tell you

D - Why ? Oh let me guess, you have a boyfriend and you're scared that he knows you're here with me ?

N - No

D - No what ? For the boyfriend or that he knows ?

N - I don't have a boyfriend Draco, so no for both

D - All right so tell me what's wrong

N - I Ju....

Argus Rusard - Miss Snape and Mr Malfoy !

We turn our heads to look at the person who interrupted us.  Argus Rusard . He grabs our robes and pulls us to Mrs McGonagall .

Argus Rusard - They were at the lake Mrs McGonagall 

Mrs McGonagall - Thank you Argus you can leave . Well ! I am waiting. Explain your selves. 

I look to Draco

D- I heard her crying in the common room so I took her outside to get some air, that's all

Mrs McGonagall - Is that true Miss Snape ?

N- Yes Mrs McGonagall ... it is ...

Mrs McGonagall - To your dorms ! Both of you and now ! You will have a detention tomorrow after your classes. 

We leave her office and go back to our dorms just before we take the separate staircases to our dorms I turn to Draco. 

N - Draco ..?

D - Mmh ?

N - Thank you for tonight

D- You're welcome

I smile and go back to my bed and  fall asleep immediately.
