"Sweet potato!" You yelled as you were pushed into a dark room, the door shut behind you and a clicked was heard from it, meaning that it was locked and there was no escape, unless you prefer to jump from the window.

"Hello?-" You called out, but before you could even take a breath, a scream was heard from the corner of the room, which made you slightly jump of course.

'Am I that terrifying?!' You were shocked for a moment as you tried to make out whoever was there, you could slightly see a figure trembling.

"Hello ?" You called again, but with a softer, lower tone. The figure's head snapped and looked towards you.

"(Y-Y/n)?" You heard your name come out from Midorikawa's mouth.

"Midorikawa?" You got closer to him and put your hand on his back. He slightly flinched and stood up straightforwardly.

"A-Are you okay?" He asked, in attempt to sound confident, but he failed apparently.

"I should be the one asking you that." You said with a sweat drop.

"I-I am perfectly fine!" He announced, slamming his palm on his chest with a confident voice.

"Yeah, sure." You nervously smiled.

"Here if you are afraid, let me hold your hand," he took your hand without a warning, which made you blush right at the spot, after a few minutes, he realized what he had just done and let go of your hand immediately.

"I-I'm sorry! I didn't mean to-" He started but you cut him off with your giggles. He stood still for a moment, dazed by your sweet laughs as his heart beat faster, it was as if butterflies danced in his stomach when he took you gently by the arm and connected his lips to yours. You were taken aback by the sudden action, but gave into the warmth of the emotions that rushed through your veins.

"I don't know if you share the same feeling, but I won't ever regret having feelings for you." He said after both of you had parted away.

"Of course I do have feelings for you, stupid ice-cream."

"Really?! I promise to always protect you!"

"Yeah, says the one who has screamed a few minutes ago because of my voice."
