"when the party's over"

I woke up in a great mood. I thought I'd be one of those people who wake up with a large headache and everything after a party. Nope! This morning was a good one for me. 

I got ready, brushed my teeth, ate some poptarts, and put on my regular white shirt and black button shirt.

This time I remembered to go to Vocational. Today we got to use the cash register! The teacher warned us though that today will be a "full house". I was kind of nervous. A full house on our first day? That's unusual. 

--30 minutes--

A headache

A backache

Cramps

Stressed

And then some.

I suffered today. I absolutely suffered today. The entire school came into our market. 

I finally got to sit on the bench and relax.

A girl came up to me though.

My classmate, Ella. What did she need?

"Izuyuki...I wanna tell you something..."

WAIT WHAT IS SHE GONNA POP THE QUESTION!?

"...I love you...do you want to go to the theater together after school...?"

I was shocked. I didn't expect a girl like her to like ME. OF COURSE YES, ELLA!

"...Sure thing."

"FOR REAL, IZU!?"

"Yeah, why not."

"YAY!"

We both hugged for quite a while. I'm so glad. I finally got someone in my life. But I can't get too ahead of myself. High School first.

--At the school--

Lunch time! I get to eat more of the pizza!

"Hi Izuyuki."

Oh.

I forgot. 

"Oh- wassup Pat?"

"Good. That party was crazy. Mike went 2nd place in the smash bros tournament."

"NO! WHO GOT 1ST?"

"THE DOOFUS WITH THE GLASSES!"

"OH MY GOD NO WAY"

I can't believe it. You'd think Mike win. Nope. 

Of course, Pat and I sat together and ate together. But I felt a different atmosphere. I didn't know why, but something seemed...off. 

I couldn't help but get a bit closer to pat. Luckily, Pat didn't notice.

"You good, Izuyuki?"

"Yeah, just thinking about homework"

"Did you forget to do it?"

"Yep. Skipped it for the party."

"Damn, good luck then Izu."

"Mhm." 

Two girls walked by us. One of them had their cheerleading outfit.

"OH MY GOD JESSICA! WAIT! Sorry Izu, I'll be back!"

WAIT HUH? THAT CHICK IS JESSICA?

I don't know why, but looking at Pat talking with Jessica...made me enraged. Why am I mad? I supported him when he talked to me about his crush, SO WHY AM I MAD?
