Chapter 25

~Kakashi Point Of View~

After y/n ran out I decided to give her some space before we asked anymore questions. Tsunade agreed with me so she told me to head home.

I got home and the first thing i did was lay on my couch. I have a lot of things to think about but y/n is the main one on my mind right now. Are we even dating, we did kiss a couple times but other then that we haven't talked about our relationship. I don't think we're officially, well not yet atleast. I plan on making it official soon but just haven't had the time to think about it. She probably doesn't feel the same way, i'll have to ask her.

I get up and head to the shower. Taking a nice cold shower is what i need right now.

~Itachi Point Of View~

When me and Kisame got back we had to explain why we left y/n behind. He was mad at first but then he forgave us cause he understood our situation. I didn't want to leave her but I had no other choice since she got caught by kakashi.

Pain assigned us a mission for next week to go retrieve her. It's going to be hard for me and Kisame  but we have no other choice since she's a big part of our plan. Without her pain would not be able to complete his plan.

Pain isn't the only one who wants to go retrieve her but I as well want to go get her. She started to grow on me from how nice she is to me. I shouldn't have left her but I guess she doesn't care since she gets to see everyone again. I wonder if she misses me at all.

~Y/n Point Of View~

After I got Narutos ramen I decided it was time for me to head home. I really didn't want to be alone right now but I really didn't have a choice. Well I could always go to Kakashis but after what happened earlier I don't think that's a good idea. He's probably mad at me for running out on him without an explanation.

When I got home, I hesitated to open the door. it's been a while since I've been here. Last Time I was here was when I had to get some clothes and other things for a mission. That was also my last mission that I did before I got taken by the Akatsuki.

I go inside and look around. Everything was just how I left it with some dust on it. I'll have to clean it up a little bit but first I'm going to clean myself up.

I walk to my room and look for some clothes to wear. Once I find some sweat pants and a T-shirt, I enter the bathroom and start to strip. I made sure to put the water on hot since i needed a nice warm shower.

The water felt amazing on my skin and it felt so relaxing. I didn't want leave and it made me not think about anything right now. All I was focused on was cleaning myself up.

Once I got out of the shower I decided to go out for groceries. Since I haven't been here for a while there is a lot of rotten food in the refrigerator so I'll have to clean that up and get some new ones to replace them.

I finish cleaning out the refrigerator and then headed out. It didn't take me long since there wasn't much to take out.

While walking to the grocery store, I walk past Kakashis apartment. I want to go in there and apologize for earlier but i don't know if i'm ready to face him yet. He thinks i'm a monster which hurt me. I'll always protect him even if it's from a far. I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't want anything to do with me anymore, it's not like we're dating or anything. But even so i want to talk to him again.

I stood there for a few minutes, starring at his door. After a alit of thought I decided to apologize after all. Even if he didn't want to see me right now, i want to see him.

I walk up to his door and knock. It seemed as no one was home so i was about to walk away knowing i'd regret it later. Before i started walking away i hear the door open. I turn around to see a shirtless grey haired man. My face started turning red from staring at his toned abs.

"It's rude to stare y/n." I snap out of my thought and looked at him in embarrassment.

"Sorry I just wanted to stop by to say sorry for running out earlier, bye!" I was about to start speed walking away till i feel a hand grab on to my wrist.

"It's also rude to leave without letting me reply." He turns me around and pulls me into a hug. His actions surprised me.

"K-kakashi?"

"I'm sorry if i made you feel like a monster earlier but just so you know i don't think of you like that, yes i'm scared of your power but i know you wouldn't hurt anyone you care about with it on purpose."

I was glad. He assured me that he didn't think of me like that and for that i was thankful. " Thanks Kakashi." I hug him back and lean my head against his hard chest.

"Let's go inside, it's cold out here." He picks me up bridal style and walks inside shutting the door with his foot. He carries me into his bedroom. I missed the comfort of his bed. It made me feel safe and at home.

He gently lays me onto the bed and climbs in next to me. "I hope you don't mind sleeping with me."

I let out a small chuckle. "Of course not i've missed sleeping with you."

He puts his hands on my waist and pulls me closer to his body. He kisses my forehead. "Goodnight cutie" I blush at his words but then reply back. "Goodnight."

I snuggle onto his chest and let myself fall asleep. Not giving a second thought to anything.
