Atlas P.O.V

The rain had finally stopped as the I walked into the building, drenched to say the least. I looked down to see Spade ever so sound asleep in my arms. At least one of us was happy withotu nightmares. I walked down the hall to his room setting him down tucking him in. I sighed as I felt his presence.

"If your thinking about taking my man you better be prepared for a fight." Slowly I turned to meet Allen's golden lime green eyes. Shaking my head I spoke.

"No, but one he's a kid as are you and two, he's not yours yet but I have no interest." Allen let out a huff before vanishing, and apearing beside Spade. I don't understand why he didn't just walk to the bed it was all of 10 feet from the door. I let myself out of the room. The cold dampness of my wet clothing didn't bother me as much as it should've. But I needed to find Lunaey. I walked pass the office from where I resided a few hours ago, to see a highly distressed Zariel and mentor who looked torn between angry and sad. I shook my head walking past them I didn't have time to be consluing them nor listen to their pleas to stay. I found her after about 10 minutes of wandering, she was sitting in a chair by the fire, huddled up as if she were hugging herself. Slowly I made my way into her view before I kneeled.

"Lunaey-...I didn't mean what I said." She angrily swipped at the tears streaming down her face.

"It doesn't matter Atlas! You said it and that's not why I'm angry! It's because everytime Rai or I just try to help you in the slightest bit, you push us-..and one day Atlas you'll push someone so far they won't ever come back..." I shut my eyes knowing full well what she meant. I soaked up the words like a sponge taking every bit of water it could get before it overfilled. Slowly I pulled the key to Diantha's realm from my pokcet. Weighing the metal in my hand. It was light onyx with multiple engraves and a single ruby embeded in the center. I swalloed every bit of my pride before I spoke.

"Lunaey..I went somewhere just to come back..she told me tings showed me things...but I just need you to trust me..to know what I'm doing is for a lot of reasons." Slowly she sat up, she looked at the key in slight curiosity, rubbing her red rimmed sea eyes.

"What is that?...and how do you use it?" I contemplated the question in my mind.  Why'd she wanna know those things?..I took a breath before speaking to her once more unsure if I should actually be sharing this with her.

"It's a key to the Guardian of Fate, one of the last roaming Ethernal Primordial's."

"What are those?"

"They're the originals not a single being like them, even if the gods, goddesses and Primordials originated from them they hold the base power meaning they aren't diluded and have a stronger ability than any would."

"I see...but you didn't answer..how to use it?" She's getting a bit too inquisitive..

"I don't know sorry.." She lightly scoffed returning to her previous position.

"I think you do." I nodded slowly sighing.

"You put it in a door and just turn it left to go, right to leave." Why was my resolve so weak? The key still resting in my palm was gone in a moment and so was she.

"Sorry Atlas...but I'm not loosing you.." She followed my instructions before jumpong through the portal, Zariel of course heard the comotion and came orbing in. He watched as the portal swallowed Lunaey and he jumped thorugh without a second thought...Truly I live with idiots..I followed suit before the portal closed itself on us. I wrenched the key from the door glaring at the two fallen bodies in front of me, retching out their guts. Cleary they didn't portal jump too often. Well it looks like we're stuck...
