Chapter 16

The male rubbed his forehead as he spoke.

"She died..just how is she....Zariel!"The male appeared before the other.

"Yes, mentor?"

"Please get Kastello for me.."The male nodded and vanished.

"Child are you sure?..."The female nodded hugging the male tightly. The male hugged back gently.

"It's okay...you're no longer in that place.....you no longer have to fear going back anywhere Lunettea...I'll make sure of it.."The female nodded wipping the tears that threatened to spill. The male smiled warmly.

"And crying my dear doesn't make you weak, you've been strong for so long it's okay to let it all out...Crying helps clean the eyes so you can see clearly again. I'll be here to catch you should you fall."Those words seemed to be what she needed they broke something in her. She broke down, she cried for the first time in a long time..she cried everything that she had kept bottled up. She cried for all those endless cold nights, the darkness that had choked her. The deaths she'd caused for not a single reason.Kas and Zariel had appeared, Jasper had released the female as Kas gently picked the female up in his arms embracing her. The female nestled into the male's embrace. The male comfoted her pulling her close as he would a child. The female had fallen asleep crying in te male's warm embrace. The male had walked over to the bed side laying her down before tucking her in. The male looked to both Zariel and Jasper.

"I'm not sure who'd child she is, her energy is mixed and her magic's been sealed away as has her magical creatures. She would've died before her 21st birthday.  from the magic overload, and being severed so long from her creatures.."Jasper sighed softly resting his head in his hands.

"Zariel...you should get some rest...her emotions are everywhere..and I'd hate for you to get hurt."The male had shaken his head.

"I can stay here with her mentor. This allows me a chance to learn to control my abilities and I want you and Kasteo to find a way to bring my brother home..."Both had looked to one another before nodding a silent agreement between both.

"Alright Rai but rememver if anything happens, you know how to reach us."The male had grabbed Kasteo's arm vanishing leaving both alone. The male had gotten up from his position by the door and sat next to the female, taking a deep breath and closing his eyes. The male had allowed himself to feel everything, his emotions and all those around him. He placed his hand on her shoulder, to single out only her emotions. Her pain, her sorros, sadness and anger but the strongest most prominent emotion within her was he fear, not of death but of the dark loneliness. The male using his ability pushed the soft pleasent emotions of support, and calm warmth. The female stirred awake as she looked at the male, then to his hand. The area around him was calming, even if he felt like the eye of a raging but compeling storm. Outside had seemed so dark as if it could swallow you whole. Whilest he felt like the light, comfort, warmth something you'd never want to leave and just wrap yourself in. The male had his eyes closed so he didn't notice but felt the piercing silver gaze of the female. It burned into him as she observed him, her gaze wandered over the planes of hid face. There were slight bag under his eyes, if you looked a bit closer you could see the light, stubble along his jaw. Unconsciously the female reached up brushing her fingers lightly against his skin, sparks of electricity flew as she yanked her hand back. The male's eyes flew open a vilent malestorm thundered in his violet eyes but on the surface they looked as calm as a quiet pond. The female realized what she had done as her eyes met his.

"I-i'm sorry."The male had just smiled softly chuckling.

"There's no need to be. " If she were him, she wou;d've lashed out and demanded to know what he was doing and the reason for it. She had felt a bit relaxed around him, trusting almost. The female glared pulling a dagger from her boot holding it to his throat.

"What are you?..And what've you done to me?..."The female had narrowed her silver gaze, as she pushed all those secure like feelings away. Alarms went off in her head as she thought something about this man was off. He was too calm, too happy, too easy to be around, too easy to trust. She felt too at ease around him she'd felt like trusting him but something ain her mind told her it was just a trick, don't trust him he just wants you to lower your guard. The male sighed softly before speaking.

"I'm an empath, but being a dragon a multi one makes my abilities more than just the average empath like my mentor. I used my ability on you to put you at ease to calm you down and to give you a bit of security." The male told her the full truth without any hesitation. A part of her wanted to trust him but a part of her told her not to trust any word this man said. What to believe....
